Needs a move to the EPL. EPL will be the spotlight of European football for a few years now. He will have a chance to revive his career there, otherwise he is just too irrelevant in France. A player like Neymar benefits from high stakes and pressure, he needs more attention.

EPL is too rough and with his proness to injuries now it's a huge risk. Should have never left La Liga and Barca. The medical staff would have prevented this issue.

He absolutely fucked up leaving Barca. He not only fucked us but fucked himself. Coutinho and Dembele haven’t been able to replace him and he hasn’t been able to stay fit.

I wonder if we would have won the champions league again had he stayed. Probably.

On that note I absolutely would not take him back. That ship has sailed for me and is not coming back.

Yeah, he played himself. Given up something great for personal glory. Hes still relatively young, maybe he will come back. Who knows, hopefully not in Barcelona though.

haha that's true about the defenders. You've got Thiago Silva, Marcelo and this dooh :alveshat:

Gotta love Dani!

give him a new nano-ceramic coating every 20 years and he's good to go

edit: about the grounded part ... he tends to hang in his own happy realm xD

Ah but Dani is a unicorn. The desire that man still has is incredible, biggest mistake from our board in the last decade letting him go. The fact a 36 year old is willing to still run his lungs out for club and country speaks volumes about him. God do Barca miss that fire.

How many top seasons does Neymar still have in him? I feel like he has reached his peak. In two seasons he is going to be playing in the MLS or China. Rather focus on the future. Our forward line is already aged the last thing we need is another player in our attack who is passed it (read Suarez). We are going through a restructuring phase right now and having to add young blood to our team, plus Neymar has a terrible temperament and will be a bad influence on young players such as Arthur. He is a bit like Dinho, He was magical for a time but after awhile the law of diminishing returns kicks in and he starts doing more harm then good.

Anyone can tell you have big of a risk leaving the team to go to Paris really was.

His Dad and the rest of his entourage fed him Snake oil and Neymar was just dumb enough to actually fall for it. Sure the allure of living in Paris and making a lot of money is great but the disparity in teams is just so huge compared when you compare them to PSG.

The only way Neymar was going to have a chance to win the Balon d'Or was either by winning the WC or winning the CL. His time there started off great but injuries and PSG not being good enough in the CL made Neymar go from being up there with the likes of Messi and CR7 to basically an afterthought.

No one can deny his talent but considering what has happened to him since he went to PSG, it simply wasn't worth the move at this moment in time. Just a consequence of letting your dad and the rest of those idiots influence him to move.

Too injury prone in what should be his prime. Not worth it tbh, better to spend the money strengthening the team with a CF and another young top class CM. Plus, our wage structure is already unsustainable without him.
