Neymar has informed Paris Saint-Germain he wants to leave the club, multiple reports have claimed.

The Brazilian reaffirmed his desire to depart the French capital in a meeting with PSG’s new sporting director Leonardo on Monday, having angered the club by turning up to pre-season training a week late.

Yep very unlikely. Day by day the deal becomes more unrealistic

Depends on the will or in this case, the stupidity, of Bartomeu. PSG can let him rot until his contract runs out. Bartomeu should not include Dembele and consider only a player transaction (No cash) of Coutinho & 1 other player (Umtiti). Else, move on. But it would appear this will continue to escalate

Nothing wrong with these numbers, alltough I hope we can get the income back to 700-750M range before of end of Summer.
It's all about net spendings, and we are not even close to the numbers the 2 Manchester teams are putting in.

Not as bad as the Manchesters clubs but not as good as Real, Juve and ATM.

I love how everyone here says that Neymar's value has dropped down while forgetting that Coutinho and Dembele's values have dropped even worse. The first one hasn't played proper football in more than a year. The second one is still a good prospect but hasn't confirmed much at Barca, and was bought for more than his real price anyway. I wouldn't want to lose Dembele to get Neymar if I were a Barca fan, but it has more to do with the fact that Ney's attitude is despicable. Value-wise, that 2 for 1 swap would make sense. Football wise, it wouldn't be complete bullshit imo: let's face it, if the board and Valverde want to play Dembele-Griezmann-Messi as mentioned earlier, getting Neymar instead of Dembouz would be a huge improvement right now. Sure, Dembele is younger, he might reach Neymar's level, but it's not a given. And he'll never be as marketable. For PSG, Neymar leaving would be a hard blow, but if you can get Coutinho as a CAM instead of Neymar while also getting Dembele on the left, allowing you to play a Dembele-Cavani-Mbappe front three with Cou behind them... You're adding depth to your squad, and you let go of a player who obviously want to leave. Not to mention that Dembele would be way more marketable in France than in Spain.

Not saying it will happen. Not saying I want it to happen (my secret hope is that Nasser will just send Neymar in PSG B for 3 years ). Just saying that it kinda makes sense, if you just look at the big picture.

Imagine not being delusional about Dembele's tenure in Barcelona so far, a rare sight indeed. He has shown some really good performances in here, but those aren't more than 10. He's been largely mediocre or downright appalling for a majority of his performances.

It's definitely a great deal for Barcelona. We get a guaranteed world class winger for about 3 years instead of constantly hoping our 140m signing will suddenly learn how to pass like a proper player.

Anyways I disagree with the transfer, he's too old for his price. Get Sané or some other high rated winger instead.

Neymar has been largely injured when it mattered, with a questionable mentality. Far from a guarantee.

*Half a season of world class performances, guaranteed. More than what Coutinho or Dembele can offer us. Anyways I'm not for Neymar way too expensive.

noooo why jump so high during the recovery work-out session!

This the time to use his poker skills. Smart play here would've been to show up d.o.a. drunk and act all lame and disoriented during training, send al' Khelaifi an inverted Ba'al Zəbûb pendant and invite him to join his Satanic cult

VADE RETRO SATANA !!!

He'd already be here for free

You can't compare us with Atleti and Juve as our revenues are way bigger

I'm comparing the financial health and long-term sustainability of the clubs. Barca's debt to income (EBITDA) ratio is much higher than Juve and ATM. Only 3 clubs are worse than Barcelona and they are all privately owned clubs.
