It is when you take in the fact that far more reliable sources like CatRadio and SER have repeatedly said that Dembele isnt for sale and that he doesnt want to leave, even if Neymar comes. Le Parisian also just denied AS report and said that there have been no offers made from Barca to PSG for Neymar.
I know you want Dembele to leave but it doesnt look like its going to happen.

I know that as is unreliable but common sense will tell you that dembele will be included. Cat radio were the ones who said coutinho will leave when griezmann come and he is still where and barto said that both him and dembele ars fundental to the coach. The six players who are rumored to be involved in the deal are rakitic,Malcom,Coutinho,Dembele,Semedo4 and Umtiti. They are signed the CB from Dortmund so umtiti is out. They have enough midfielders in Verratti, Herrera, Paredes and the guy from Sevilla so rakitic is out. They are willing to give up a player who can win the ballon dor they wouldn't want someone like Malcom who get in start for us so he is out, that only leaves Coutinho, Dembele and Semedo. I can only see them wanting Dembele plus coutinho or semedo since he is French, Mbappe's BFF, Tuchel's favorite player and has immense potential. Also, financially I just dont see how its possible for us to have griezmann, neymar dembele, suarez and messi since having all means damaging out wage structure even more

[AS via RMC Sport] | Barça made a first offer for Neymar

Barça offered Ousmane Dembélé, Philippe Coutinho and an additional €40 million

This offer was perceived as 'ridiculous' by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi

Nasser is right because its ridiculously overpaid as far as barça's concerned.

Neymar is only worth around 150 tot 170m, Coutinho and Rakitic is more then enough.

And even then the players would have to agree, this ain't the NBA.

Dembele doesnt want to leave so he wont. and as far as we know, Neymar probably wont even come here at all.

Neymar literally posted a photo of him on social media in a Barca shirt with a bible quote the same photo that's hanging at the camp nou. Pac's sporting director said he is free to leave, Nassar said no one forced him (Neymar) to come here, Leanardo said that Barca have registered interest in Neymar but no official bid, and Coutinho's agent said Cury is confirmed to be trying to swap Coutinho for Neymar and the board haven't been honest with their intentions publicly or privately.

You would have to be stuck in your own confirmation bias not to see that operation prodigal son isn't underway in full force.

a substitute + total flop for neymar is indeed a ridiculous offer. It has nothing to do with the deal of a hot coutinho (liverpool) and a hot dembele (dortmund).

Neymar transfers are always long and full of drama. But something will happen within the next two weeks for sure

I'm comparing the financial health and long-term sustainability of the clubs. Barca's debt to income (EBITDA) ratio is much higher than Juve and ATM. Only 3 clubs are worse than Barcelona and they are all privately owned clubs.

I'm not convinced you understand what you're talking about. Both Juve and Atleti have high debt figures.

EBITDA is not a ratio, unless he's talking about EBITDA-margin or EBITDA-to-sales ratio. Even so, a high number is generally speaking good

Debt/EBITDA is what he said.

Debt/EBITDA is a ratio measuring the amount of income generated and available to pay down debt before covering interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization expenses. Debt/EBITDA measures a company's ability to pay off its incurred debt, and a higher ratio result could indicate a company with a too-heavy debt load.

My dream scenario that will never happen :

we trade the fat fuck (who will love to go play with his friend cavani) and we can play griezmann false 9, messi and neymar behind him. while developing dembele meanwhile. Coutinho, meh. I guess he can stay as a decorative figure
