I won`t lie, I like the idea of Neymar in combo with de jong, messi, griezmann etc. So if he comes, I`ll be more than okay with it.
But everything about this just feels wrong to me. I mean wtf is our transfer policy and man management? Does anyone in that club really know what are the short or long term plans for squad management and transfers?
We bought Malcom last year, fucked up his move to Roma. The guy had everything in place to sign for a solid club and progress as a player. Barca comes in, buys him to sit on the bench for a year and then ships him off to Zenit. Very shitty move by Barca.
Now using Coutinho as a bargaining chip for Neymar. I know many people hate him here, but the guy did everything to come here and now he`ll be shipped off to PSG because Neymar wants back.

Not to mention Yerry Mina case etc. I mean what the fuck.
Barca locker room became a train station. No wonder we are losing our identity.

Even if it was the best case scenario, which is Coutinho plus 100m, it would mean we will have to take on more debt and we will have zero money left for the next two windows, not to mention footing Neymar’s huge salary. Do those of you who want Neymar to return really not care about the future of the club?? Are you Neymar fans or Barca fans?

His transfer will be good only if we somehow win one CL in the next 2-3 years.

Imagine if:
1. we sign him and Griezz and don't win anything
2. lose Messi in 2 years
3. ruin our finances
4. kill all young players due to playing the old guard in a final attempt to win a CL

Barto is playing "all in".
We will see how this hand will end for him.

Barto and co already fucked the 'future' of Barca though.. this isn't something thats gradually happening, its here right infront of us NOW. we have a fucking dunce as our manager, we are buying players like Griezmann for 100mil+ with no idea where to actually play them. we burn every bridge when dealing with clubs, we've had a transfer ban, our ex president did jail time. La masia in ruins etc.

only solace is once Messi leaves/retires, we'll be in much better shape financially (then we get to watch these clueless apes try and replace him )

Yes, then why make it even worse?

Elections are 2021 so there isn't really a reason to think long term for him. He just wants his galacticos now

I am truly afraid this club will go bankrupt after Barto leaves. He will leave huge debts and insane salaries behind him. Barca won't recover for years to come. Neymar move will only make sense if we win not 1 but 2 CL in the next 3 years because even without him we are one of the 3 top contenders to win it. Barto is gambling with all the money we have and don't have like a gambling addict.

And the rest of the people are ok with it.

Because I don't think a Neymar transfer isn't possible without everyone in agreement.

What a hopeless/desperate bunch, they should rather start building up. Otherwise it will be too late, Messi wil be gone and so will be the charm.

How the fuck are we planning to recover this money? If we don't manage to sell Rafinha and Raki/Vidal we are truly fucked. Problem is that at the moment none of these players has a proper offer on the table. Problem will be even bigger when clubs realize we are desperate to sell.

We also need to pray that Umtiti manages to stay healthy because next summer we won't have money to buy another CB. I will never understand this deal. Even if it works in the short run, in the long run this is pure madness.

Even then I don't think its justifiable.

We will pay nearly 200M for Neymar, we will halt the progession of our best young attacker in Dembele, and we will have to accomodate Neymar who doesn't press well, all that for a player who will turn 28 next Feb and will most likely give 3-4 WC seasons and not to mention how much demanding he will become once Messi steps down, or is gone.

True. It seems like financially this deal makes no sense. Also we have to remember Neymars brand is not worth as much as it used to be. Most of the people hate him now, because his diving and diva acts.
