Sorry to break it to you, coming from someone who follows PSG. . . They don't consider Mbappe, but Neymar their best player.

Neymar was a barca player for 4 years, his record:

2 La Liga in 4 years
3 Copa del Rey in 4 years
without Neymar since 2008-09:
2 CL + 4 SF & 1 QF
6 La Liga in 7 years

According to the team results barça is better without Neymar in both the CL and La Liga and better with him in the Copa del Rey

Blindly posting stats without context or substance is the worst trend in football discussions. His first season here, he came directly from Brasil and the team was in the process of restructuring. Against Atletico Madrid he was actually one of our better players. The seasons following the treble the issue of a deteriorating midfield and balance issues in general started to pop up, and it's exactly what teams in the CL took advantage of. In fact if you look back, Neymar was hardly the problem during our QF exists, in fact he was often the best or at least second best player...
I do agree it's a transfer that shouldn't happen. 300m+ for only 3 years (assuming his prime lasts that long) is ridiculous...

You're cherry picking stats there though. Starting from the 08/09 season has no relevance at all other than you picking our most successful period and comparing it to Neymar-Barca period to make the latter look worse.
Why not start from our first CL win in 1992... that's 4 CL's, 11 La Liga, 4 Copa Del Reys in 22 years. Neymar's record is better.
Or why not start from when the CL started.... 4 CL's, 16 La Liga, 14 Copa Del Reys. Neymar's stats with us don't seem too bad without cherry picking do they?
You also picked a time frame in which our midfield and team in general was arguably the best ever seen. Shite argument mate.
