It doesn't make any sense to sign Neymar when PSG's best player in Mbappé will be available within a couple of years or something.
A top-quality out-and-out striker is much more needed given to Suárez's decline.
Just for fun ...
Barca trying to find a deal #NoMoneyNoNeyney

CR7 has won the CL 5 times in the 17 seasons he's played in it.
Messi has won the CL 4 times in the 14 seasons he's played in it.
These are the two GOATS of the CL and look how hard it is to win CLs based on those stats.
So obviously signing Neymar isn't an automatic CL win, but it increases our chances a lot. In the 3 years he was here we won one CL with him playing a key role. Those are good odds, if you add in the fact that Messi-Neymar connection was unbelievable at times, Coutinho/Dembele are the alternatives and Neymar will be hungrier than ever to prove a point imo.
The idea that we didn't win CL's in the other 2 years he was here as a reason not to have him back is nonsense. The financial side and injury aspect are more of a concern.
Neymar was a barca player for 4 years, his record:
1 CL + 3 QF
2 La Liga in 4 years
3 Copa del Rey in 4 years
without Neymar since 2008-09:
2 CL + 4 SF & 1 QF
6 La Liga in 7 years
3 Copa del Rey in 7 years
According to the team results barça is better without Neymar in both the CL and La Liga and better with him in the Copa del Rey
knowing the above, the diva behaviour, the injuries, the cost... this could be among the worst decisions in the club's history
