Yes sorry it's 4 seasons not 3.

You're cherry picking stats there though. Starting from the 08/09 season has no relevance at all other than you picking our most successful period and comparing it to Neymar-Barca period to make the latter look worse.

Why not start from our first CL win in 1992... that's 4 CL's, 11 La Liga, 4 Copa Del Reys in 22 years. Neymar's record is better.

Or why not start from when the CL started.... 4 CL's, 16 La Liga, 14 Copa Del Reys. Neymar's stats with us don't seem too bad without cherry picking do they?

You also picked a time frame in which our midfield and team in general was arguably the best ever seen. Shite argument mate.

2008-09 is the start of Messi's prime so imo quite relevant

shure i took those results without context but i also fail to see how he has actually improved barça when he was here

plus all the red flags, the fact that the team don't really need him and the huge cost, just let him go to Madrid, he'll be causing trouble in that club in no time

IF and thats a big IF on form, free of injuries, he is the closest thing to Messi in world football.
He is the only player which would raise our chances to win CL significantly.

At this point everyone should be fairly confident, that all sources are BS. Don't come to any conclusions before the summer ends.

As far as this is concerned:

2008-09 is not just the start of Messi's prime. Xavi, Iniesta, Alves, Busquets, Pique were also at their peak during that era. We had another manager during that era also.
It is at most a pointless comparison. You may be right in saying Neymar didn't improve the team, but you are trying to prove it the wrong way.

Don't agree, we were the best team in world, arguably of all time in that period. Unfair to compare those two time frames.

I believe the team does need him. Dembele just isn't good enough and may never be, Coutinho doesn't fit LW or midfield and should leave and Griezmann isn't a true winger.

Neymar played a key part in our CL victory, has La Liga experience, knows the players, Neymar-Messi connection on the pitch was unbelievable at times etc

Couldn't have said it better myself:

🔵 Neymar is in Barcelona . He has traveled with his private airplane from Paris to Barcelona . Was Luis Suarez who welcomed him firstly . They did all this behind the camera . HE IS HERE !!!

🔴 [Catalunya Radio ] [ Cadena Ser ] [ Mundo Deportivo ].

-GRK

Msn holding hands and praying this transfer will happen and papa barto with tears in his eyes right behind.

Neymaaaaaaaaaarrrrrr , so the rumours one yar ago that he regretted to left Barca were true. Unbelievable what is happening. But sad that Barca who was famous for talents buys
100+ mio transfers every vear. First Dembele, then Coutinho, then Griezmann and now Neymar. These 4 players have cost us 500-600 mio in only 2 years!
