And how did Coutinho (and Dembélé) performed trying to replace Neymar ? Coutinho is not the solution. Then you add Rakitic that most of your fanbase don't want anymore and even more after de Jong purchase.

I mean think about it: PSG wanted de Jong and was very close to sign him. Finally, Barça got him. They don't need Rakitic anymore who is deemed surplus to requirement. Barça bought Coutinho who is not good enough to replace Neymar. At the end of this deal, Barça gets the way superior players in Neymar and de Jong. PSG gets the inferior (and no longer wanted) players in Coutinho and Rakitic and oh 100 M€. This is fucking terrible business by PSG.

I get your concern and I agree about De Jong but keeping Neymar who doesn't want to be there is the worst thing you can do. What do you think Real would offer to you? Bale?! That dude is the definition of a washed out player. IMHO this is the best you can get at the moment. Also bare in mind that Barca is gambling big time here. Imagine Neymar gets injured one more time during the crucial part of the season and this will be the worst deal of all time, not to mention his outside of the pitch problems. IMHO you should be more concentrated on keeping Mbappe than Neymar.

Well actually when fit and focused Neymar is the 2nd best player in the planet. I do think FDJ may become one of be best MF next year, we will see. Allison is the best GK--Mats is probably top 3 with Oblak however. No way anyone can claim Dembele is better than Mbappe.

Well, Barça is gambling about Neymar injury but PSG is gambling big about even perfectly fit Rakitic and Coutinho. Fit Neymar is wayyyyy better than those versions of Rakitic and Coutinho.

And keeping Neymar is a way of keeping Mbappé actually. Mbappé loves Neymar, loves playing with him. If he feels the team is not competitive enough (and well, i don't think you guys from Barça will tell me Coutinho and Rakitic were making Barça competitive enough for CL), he will want to leave. Same with Verratti. Those players are not there only for the money.

Look at who Barça bought, who Real Madrid bought and look at PSG. Diallo, Sarabia, Herrera, Gueye, Rakitic, Coutinho. Sounds like almost Europa League signings while losing your best player.

Update from SoccerLink (ParisUnited affiliate): After more than 3 hours of meeting, Leonardo isn't in agreement with Barcelona's €100m value of Coutinho. The negotiations will continue after a break.
