Safe to do what? He is 31y old and he is not stupid this is his last chance to sign another big contract. Next summer he won't be able to do that anymore.

He wants to stay and he wants to play. He knows that he is very important in Valverdes eyes and that he will play, so why leave? And then you also have the family-part playing in aswell. When Valverde leaves, that is when he is in trouble and that is when he will be forced to leave. + He could also run down his contract, go for free and get a huge ass sign on bonus aswell.

Should have never gone to PSG. At 25 he looked like an absolute monster.

Club de amigos if Rakitic refuses to leave for Neymar.

"Offering 31 yo old Rakitic will prove to be an error in the long run." Like he'll play football until 100 yo or something.

Every offer other than Coutinho and Rakitic without any cash is a loss for the club. PSG are in a situation were they have a player requesting to leave . This alone should lower the starting price. Neymar isn't valued at 250.

They don't give a fuck if a player is requesting to leave. They have the 2nd best player in the world with them and they have shown in the past that they don't care about what players want.

Rakitic is our biggest liability, Neymar is arguably the 2nd best in the world. If this deal happens I and most of us will be pumped with excitement and hype for the coming season and our matches will not be boring to watch at the very least like the whole of this season. It's a no brainer for me considering we pay less after the swap.

Ronaldo is 2nd best by all means.

Coutinho+Rakitic and still 100m?

That is beyond crazy. Neymar is not worth that much. Not worth it. Not worth it.

We will be so stupid to do something like this.

Worst Case Scenario:
1. Barca swap Rakitic + Coutinho + $$$ for Neymar.
2. We face PSG away at the UCL Quarter-finals.
3. Neymar gets injured before the match.
4. Dembele gets injured before the match.
5. Valverde choses Umtiti for CB, Sergi Roberto for RB and Busquets & Vidal for midfield.
6. Suarez misses two easy goals. (standard away misses)
7. Alba has a brainfart. (standard away brainfart)
8. Rakitic and Coutinho play amazing and score 2 screamers each.
9. We lose 4-0 away (standard away Barca UCL loss margin) and are eliminated.
10. The board contacts PSG at the end of the season to offer them messi + 100m and get back Rakitic & Coutinho.

Best Case Scenario:
1. Barca swap Rakitic + Coutinho + $$$ for Neymar.
2. We face PSG away at the UCL Quarter-finals.
3. Rakitic and coutinho both start for PSG and have a terrible UCL QF game (standard UCL QF terrible game for both).
4. Griezmann nutmegs Rakitic for revenge every chance he gets.
5. Neymar scores a hatrick. (0-3)
6. Messi scores a brace. (0-5)
7. Suarez misses two easy goals. (standard away misses, can't avoid this one)
8. Alba has a brainfart (standard away brainfart, can't avoid this one too) and we concede one. (1-5)
9. Sergi Roberto scores a goal in the 96th minute after a Neymar assist. (1-6)
10. Neymar makes a press conference and says that this is his new best moment ever in football.

Incredible.

Look at how the moment an opposition players slightly moves up, he quickly takes advantage of it by moving into space. He receives the ball and immediately carries it and passes it to an open player, and before his teammate even receives it, he's already moving behind the defense to prepare for a quick one two. That's fucking talent right there. That's something you can't teach regardless of the quality of the coach, and it's why [certain] players will never make it here. They lack the killer instinct, awareness, and intelligence of a top forward like Neymar or Hazard.

After two seasons of underwhelming wingplay, I'll be so hype if he actually comes back.
