We're so short in the attack that we can't really trust Suarez and Dembele to stay fit for the rest of the season. If Messi also gets another injury, our season is pretty much done.

I would gladly take one or two trophyless seasons rather than making another dumb signing that lacks any long-term sporting planning.

I’m not as emotionally affected by the stuff he’s done like you are.

He thought he could be his own “Messi” at PSG, it didn’t work out and he realised Barca is the best place for him.

Also put yourself in his shoes, if you were leaving your work and could take advantage of a big bonus payout would you be a nice genuine person and not take that bonus or would you be like any normal person and do your best to get the bonus lol

So many snowflakes offended by Neymar’s actions and how he is. It’s business at the end of the day, what he brings on the pitch is way better than we currently have. Even the financial aspect doesn’t bother me that much, we won’t go bankrupt lol that’s just people being dramatic.

Awesome relativization there dude. So the humans who have some basic ethical standards are now "snowflakes" Good luck with that logic...

Actions in life have consequences. Neymar chose his actions and he got his consequences. He didn t apologize, he didn t express any regret so it makes sense to assume he is the same asshole as he was back than.

Getting him back will be our action and the consequences will not be good for Barca.

That's a bit silly. Besides, Messi is probably going to leave in 2 years, so I don't want us to waste Messi's last few years at the club without him winning at least one more Champions League. He deserves at least that much.

(CatRadio) NEYMAR. Sources close to the negotiation: PSG willing to accept a 1 year loan with mandatory purchase for 160M€. Everything depends on Bartomeu. Neymar won't do anything if Barcelona doesn't get serious.

160m that’s a bargain. do it barto!

I see you are self aware.

He thought he could be his own “Messi” at PSG, it didn’t work out and he realised Barca is the best place for him.

Plz he obviously only went for the money if you believe anything else i've got a bridge to sell you lol
He is the sole reason we got totally fucked in the market and is nothing but a snake, I dont think he's the worst person ever but the people around him are cancerous leeches who have an incredibly bad effect on him and by extension the clubs he works for; It's something we dont need here.

Also put yourself in his shoes, if you were leaving your work and could take advantage of a big bonus payout would you be a nice genuine person and not take that bonus or would you be like any normal person and do your best to get the bonus lol

No, I'd actually let the club know that ill Probably be leaving after the date so i give them time to find replacements so they wouldn't get fucked in the market. Leaving respectfully would of been best for all involved and would of worked out much better.... the club wouldn't be as upset about the paid bonus imo.

Even the financial aspect doesn’t bother me that much, we won’t go bankrupt lol that’s just people being dramatic.

He will actually totally fuck us sporting wise, It would tie up a huge portion of our wages and would also limit us in the market. We are currently in a very bad situation financially and are not able to pay debts off easily if the cost of borrowing was to increase.

No, I just don’t think his actions are as bad as people make out. Football is an emotional sport.

Can I ask you, why have Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol (and others including Rivaldo) all come out in support of Neymar’s return to Barca? Shouldn’t they be even MORE offended by Neymar’s “actions” as you talk about. These guys are Barca through and through, you could not be any more of a Barca fan than those 3 guys yet they are all for bringing him back. I’m not saying they are right or wrong either, just pointing out that they should be offended by Neymar’s actions the most but are not yet some of our foreign fans are.

What are these consequences you talk of?

Is this the worst transfer saga ever?

No doubt. It goes on and on like couple relationships in Young & the Restless, where every male protagonist has been married at least 6 times and has at least 3 children that he doesn't know of.

I am not only offended by his actions.
As a footballer, for 4 years I was writing that he is more show than actual product.

He is a good player to have, but not for 200m fee and 80m gross wages.
A guy is just not worth it and is nowhere near that "arguably the 2nd best player in the world" myth.

So it is:
1. He is not THAT good footballing wise
2. He has left and sued us
3. He is injured and almost finished
4. His transfer would be a financial suicide with 200m transfer fee and 80m gross wages.
On top of that, we would be tied with him for the next 4-5 years.
No one will buy him, injured od healthy.
Our next board will need to pay a transfer fee and wages for this clown.
And sporting wise, we won't be able to move on and evolve for 5 years with this clown as a leader.

The only hope is that he will get injured.
Then we could move on and evolve.
But we would lose 600m for his transfer fee, wages and sister parties.

Was recently ranked second best creator/decisive (HQ) passer to Messi.
The third on the list was a far distant third, stats wise.
I don't really know what you are on to here, but for all the epistles you type i thought you'd have come up with a better argument.

I m not offended by any means.

His exit was bad. You can interpret his actions in any way you choose, but objectively, ethically, it was bad. It s not about emotions at all. If i m a company owner and my employee wants to go elsewhere, while
trying to pick up a "loyalty bonus", i m not gona try to get him back in 2 years. The guy is obviously not reliable and if i have to pay 150 mil+ in order to get him, the decision is even easier. Plus he is on sick leave when i need him the most.
I mean come on people, it s not hard to see this.

I don t understand why so many doubt a person who says he/she wouldn t try to take that bonus. Especially if you are already a
multi millionaire. But i guess greed does not have any limits, which is why this planet is the way it is.

Regarding consequences, i ll just say, let s wait and see. I would be extremely surprised if Neymar comes back and Barca starts winning CL-s.

As we've seen throughout this whole process, pretty much everyone hasn't got a clue what they're talking about. I wouldn't trust Sport in any case.

I thought people here would have learnt not to listen to the press in general, from what we have seen over the years.
