If there's one thing that could potentially happen.

If he does sign and stays injured free and we still end up sucking ass in the CL and getting eliminated in some embarrassing way, it would be the end of Valverde at least.

Sorry, but the end of Valverde is near anyway. It will naturally flow.

Valverde is a dying star, a white dwarf heading for a black hole. That's physics. It's inevitable.

We don't need to put ourselves even more in the whole by bringing back fucking Neymar.

We don't need him to come for that. Valverde will be gone at the end of the season regardless if we get eliminated in another embarrassment, Neymar or not.

Sport are just quoting Pedrerol from Chiringuito, who's a known madridista.

There's no way Neymar will earn that much, if anything it just proves Barca are close to signing him if the Madrid smear campaign has already started.

The the funny part is a part of me wants this to blow up in our faces just to see the reactions.

If there's another thing is people will have very little tolerance of Neymar compared to back then. Back then you had people defending him to the death(like me) even if he made some mistakes and did some dumb shit like skipping games so he can go to his sisters birthday party.

But now? yeah, I highly doubt you will still have that many legions of Barca fans willing to defend him to death except maybe a few people. Every lost ball and possible injury and my god this thread will be worse or epic than what we have ever seen before.

BBZ already has his ammunition ready even before Neymar is coming.

I m not offended by any means.

His exit was bad. You can interpret his actions in any way you choose, but objectively, ethically, it was bad. It s not about emotions at all. If i m a company owner and my employee wants to go elsewhere, while
trying to pick up a "loyalty bonus", i m not gona try to get him back in 2 years. The guy is obviously not reliable and if i have to pay 150 mil+ in order to get him, the decision is even easier. Plus he is on sick leave when i need him the most.
I mean come on people, it s not hard to see this.

I don t understand why so many doubt a person who says he/she wouldn t try to take that bonus. Especially if you are already a
multi millionaire. But i guess greed does not have any limits, which is why this planet is the way it is.

Regarding consequences, i ll just say, let s wait and see. I would be extremely surprised if Neymar comes back and Barca starts winning CL-s.

You see this IS an emotional response, you don't want him because of the manner that he left. From a business point of view Neymar is top 5 player when fit, 3rd most marketable player in the world, he was our 2nd/3rd best player when he was here (between him and Suarez), he knows the league, he knows our players, we won a CL with him etc. The way he left the club is way down in importance from a business point of view, they can kiss and make up easily.

I also see the risks, injury, he could have already peaked, high cost. I just think the other things outweigh these.

You never answered about Xavi, Iniesta etc? Why would a typical Barca fan be so bothered about the way Neymar left when the most Barca guys possible are not. It's like some imaginary Barca moral high ground they are trying to take lol

About CL's i've always said, nothing's guaranteed. Add Valverde to that and our chances are even lower, but Neymar does increase our chances of winning for sure.

Whatever the outcome, they need to close the deal or end the Neymar chase ASAP. PSG are keeping him out of the game this weekend too.

Imagine believing Florentino's source when it comes to Neymar's supposed salary at Barcelona.
