 You said last 24 months in your first post. You literally added up the purchases and sales over the last 24 months and ended up with 800m and 300m. No need to backtrack and now use the figures for the whole of Barto's presidency. Just admit you inflated the numbers.

Being around -100m in transfers per season isn't even that bad, definitely nowhere near the bankruptcy fans have been claiming.

BUT we still ended up in profit last year and the year before, so all the extra figures you talk of like wages, agents fee's mean nothing in the grand scheme of things. We made money, end of.

We borrowed 35m euros, not 100m lol

I am not following every single detail of our transfers.
The point is that we:
1. had huge debts before Barto
2. we turned into a club with the highest wages in the world, almost unsustainable wages
3. we didn't have money for new transfers so we already needed to make a loan to sign Griezz, even if only 35M. It means that we don't have money no matter how you twist it
4. and now, icing on a cake, Neymar.

Anyway, even if my numbers are wrong, what is your take on Barto and Neymar's transfer?
1. are you for Neymar's return?
2. what do you think about wage bill and debts?
3. what are your plans if a pessimistic scenario happens:
1) Neymar gets injured and yet locked on a 5 years deal?
2) or doesn't improve our team at all, in spite of 600M invested, locked on a 5 years deal?

Do you think that a new board will be able to cover these debts, create healthy finances and buy lost of new players in upcoming years (when we will need a new No9, a new Messi etc. Unless if you think that Neymar will be the new Messi, ouch?)

Selling Vidal would be a big error. Dembele and Rakitic can go.

Next year is the year to sell Vidal. When the first major payment to Neymar will be done. Vidal will be 33 by the start of the next season and I don't know how much more gas he will have in the tank after this year.

So again no agreement found today.

The more time goes, it becomes more realistic that ney stays.

Our gang won't fly again to Paris.

New Messi?

We won t be that lucky twice. We will need no. 9 in the near future, but that s about it. You are way too pesimistic.
Perhaps your pesimistic scenario brings more attention to the production of our own players from La Masia. There is a big hole in the last 10 years in that department.

as much as i value vidal and his quality.. it s not the style we thrive with.. we terrorized the world with skill and artistery and not with muscles and fighting spirit. we have wayyy too many technical players now to need any muscular players.. if neymar gets back. it will be time for the champagne football .. and for that, vidal is not necessary at all.
