So the only way it'll happen is if PSG lower the price and make an offer

Btw, my scouts have been working 24/7 in the last couple of days to find a similar player like Neymar.

They have found a new guy.
Lots of show, good skills, tons of showboating=and zero end product.

But this guy is not injured and can come for 100 000 Euros.
A win-win deal for us:

For a guy obsessed with stats, why are you denying the fact that neymar has end product? Lol

There are a lot of possible conspiracy theories scenarios regarding both clubs:
1. Barca really wanted Neymar (Barto) to try to go all in for a CL in the next 2 years
2. or, Barca never really wanted Neymar, but we were doing this:
1) either to please Messi who was asking for Neymar

2) or to please the fans, to make Barto look like a good guy who wanted to buy Neymar, but bad guys from Psg didn't want to let him go

Regarding Psg, there are several options:
1. they never wanted to let go Neymar because he is a mascot of a World Cup in Quatar
2. they wanted to let go Neymar because he is injured and his career is over. And that is THE ONLY REASON why they wanted to sell
3. or, they never wanted to let go their FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 mascot, but since he was unhappy, they created this theatre with us, to make it look as if:
Dear Neymar, we are listening to your feelings and want you to be happy.
We were willing to let you go to Barcelona.
But they never really made a good offer, so we couldn't do anything.
We can't let you go for cheap...
So, you will "have" to stay and continue to be our mascot, since this is why we have bought you in the first place. NOBODY will ruin our Quatar 2022' project.
So, stay here and we hope that you will happy.
We will give you a new contract, if needed. Just stay.

Hard to tell which one is true, but every single scenario makes sense to a certain extent.

Good points. I think Messi was the main reason why we wanted to get Neymar back.

Frank Lebouef said we never really wanted him but were just playing with PSG. Would be actually fun if Bartomeu was just on a mission to unsettle PSG and Neymar.

My favourite line these days was "PSG failed to attract Dembélé, Rakitic, Todibo ".

The guy who left Barça for PSG and desperately wants to come back now can't come back because none of the current Barcelona players want to leave Barcelona for Paris. What an irony. Karma is a bitch, and as the old saying goes, karma is best served cold.

They know better, Neyboy. Maybe thanks to you they do so.

True. But only Rakitic can be sold for 30-50 mil and is on large-ish salary. The rest are not a big deal. Cou is loaned and hopefully he is going to have a good season, so we can sell him for 100 mil next year.
Dembele is a must at this point in time. No alternatives.

There are still couple of days left, so if Rakitic is sold, i would consider this transfer window a big success. Hopefully PSG don t loosen their demands.

There were rumours that Raki didn't want to go to PSG but was open to a move to Juve. So now if Neymar deal is really off I think we'll start to negotiate with them.

PSG knows that’s impossible for those players to agree .

Fuck neymar, hope the transfer haunts him to his deathbed.

Not saying the transfer isn't over, but to think MD knows what Barca and PSG are emailing to each other is laughable. Would take this with a pinch of salt.

Well I doubt that we would get over 30m for Rakitic but that is not the point. Now there's no time for us or him to find another team because we were freaking invested in a dead end negotiation with PSG for the 3773838th time. Then there's Rafinha who should also move because he'll get injured one way or another anyway. There's the fact that we loaned out Coutinho for peanuts while our forwards are dropping out like flies.

All the jam in midfield means that the likes of Alena, Puig won't get enough minutes to delvelop properly. And no, I don't really believe they wouldn't embrace a loan if both the board and Valverde would have talked with them and told them straight that minutes will be limited. But because the morons thought that exchanging players is like exchanging candy, they probably expected to be without Rakitic and a few others at this point and the youngins would get game time.

All around shitshow, brought to you by the award winning idiots, Bartomeu, Abidal and co.

For a guy obsessed with stats, why are you denying the fact that neymar has end product? Lol

He has an end product compared to Pedro and Malcom.
He has a shit end product for a 222m guy and "arguably the 2nd best player in the world".

I mean, people have a collective amnesia again.

Barcaman and other admins had to lock, delete and burn several Neymar's topics on this forum while he was here.
His defenders were saying that he is awesome, blah blah, a classical thing like with any forum's favorite.
Some of us, who expected way more for him were writing for years:
1. how he slows down our game
2. how you can't have a functional midfield when Neymar is on a field since he drops deep on a flank, slows down, doesn't pass a ball to anyone and dribbles past 5 players and loses a ball.
Then eventually, out of 20 attempts, he makes an assist or score and people are ecstatic.
Yet, we would have scored a goal from those 20 actions even without him.
3. I used to follow matches with and without him and in his last 18 Months here, we performed way better results wise when he was NOT playing. With Arda and Pedro as wingers we played more as a team and our passing game and movement looked more like BArca's DNA, which people are asking for.
When Neymar played, teamplay was gone and it was all about: pass the ball to Messi/Neymar and hope for the best.
Now, people will say: that was because our midfield sucked.
What if our midfield sucked because we had Neymar who wasn't willing to pass the ball to anyone?
4. also, people forgot collectivelly how HORRIBLE he was in a spring of 2016 and 2017.
I used to make fan of him with posts: Neymar hasn't scored from an open play in the last 882 minutes in La Liga.
And that happened both in 2016 and 2017. In spring: he was okish in a CL and a disaster in La Liga.
He was playing half arsed, wasn't scoring, wasn't creating. He was just showboating and fighting with anyone.
And he was scoring a free kick or a pen here and there.
Also, I think that in a 2016-17 season, he hasn't scored a single (or 1-2) important goals in La Liga.
All of his goals were goals for 5:0, 6:1 and similar in the 85th minute against dead opponents or against 10 men.

In a spring 2016 and 2017, more and more people started to turn their backs on him (similar to Dembele today, but not that extreme).
Then he went to Psg, EVERYONE started to mock him and saying that he was never that good player.
And now, in the last 3 Months, I feel as if we are in some weird twilight zone, where he is suddenly AGAIN arguable the 2nd best player in the world, and all shit is forgotten:
1. how he was an absolute shit in the last 18 Months
2. how we almost lost 2 La ligas in his last 18 Months here
3. fighting with anyone
4. slowing down the game, dribbling backwards
5. off field show
6. rolling and faking injuries for 10 minutes per match
7. being fouled for 18 times per match since he is asking for it with provoking everyone and with holding the ball (and not releasing it) for 30 seconds UNTIL he gets fouled

I have posted this match lots of times.
But this is EXACTLY how he has played in the last 18 Months here on every match.
Now, again, look at some basic things:
1. how many times will he pass to a teammate once when he gets the ball? Rarely
2. how many times he goes into crazy solo dribbles past 2-3-4-5 opponents? Whenever possible
3. What can midfielders do ONCE when he gets the ball? Nothing. No matter how you move or what you do, you won't get the ball back. This is not total football, this is Neymar's private show.
4. and then, out of 20 actions, he will make one assist, and people will say: but he created something again!
His game imo was similar to Dembele's.
Dembele plays like shit for 90 minutes and then scores a golazo and people forget how badly he played.
The same is with Neymar. He is making stupid dribbles and killing teamplay for 90 minutes, then he makes 1-2 good actions (out of 20 attempts) and people say: But he is the ONLY one who created something!
Lol, of course, when other teammates didn't even have the chance to create since he playing a solo show in every single action.
** And then: Neymar gone to Psg, Barca won two easy La Liga titles. What a surprise, lol.
Now look at his amazing play and our teamplay when he is on a field:

Incumbent upon the player to force a move, not the buying club in this particular case. Money talks & Neymar hasn't done enough to force PSG's hands. Hands that are awash with limitless money but bad publicity is the only thing that can effect any actual change

There is still time to sell Rakitic if he is willing to go. I would rather have him for one more season here on the bench, than getting Neymar back.

I would rather play Fati on wings, than Cou and i hope he gets more minutes. Cou was truly awful. I m sure he would be different player with a good coach, but it is what it is.

Rafinha is not a big deal. When healthy he is a solid backup and I have a feeling we ll need backups this season.
