Oh I agree but you cannot force the likes of Rakitic and Dembele out as we tried here.

If you want to punish them do it for either being unprofessional reasons or sporting reasons as in if you think you have better options and don't need them anymore way. But don't send them to the stands because they weren't willing to play ball and go to Paris.

look at the Coutinho situation.. high wages, a club record signing and literally nobody wants him thus we end up loaning him to penny pinchers Bayern. he'll be back here next summer when Bayern pass on the 'option to buy' also so its back to square one. we will have no option but to loan out Dembele next summer - his window of being 'young, world beater potential' is closing and Sancho will be the new kid on the block going for 100mil+

I'm not saying Neymar returning is a good deal, im indifferent at this stage BUT i would rather Neymar-Griezmann-Messi going for a CL than wasting time on players who clearly have no future here

He is not coming. And it's for the best. Not 24-25 anymore, has had repeated injuries on his leg, and he seems to be less and less focused on football. PSG broke him for good. We shouldn't pay over the moon to mend the pieces back together for a few seasons.
