Of course Barca needs a caliber like him. It is not even questionable as any team would need him.
No coach is going to make Dembele be professional. No coach is going to help Perez..... who keeps fucking up good chances. That's not on Valverde.
But I do agree we need a new coach and board.

It's not about Dembele or perez. Why the fuck do you want to waste 200m on an unprofessional diva who is approaching his 30s and also fucked us and will easily fuck us again?
There are other options out there that we can acquire, we don't need the best players in every position as evidenced by Liverpool. A team is better then a collection of individuals in this sport, something all these 12 year old fail to grasp because their understanding of the sport is based on the mechanics of what ever iteration of Fifa is current.

This is not on the board. This is on Messi. The only reason he is being considered is because of Messi. Messi doesn't have much time left to get another CL. Neymar, even with his risks, is the surest thing to have something that will hit the ground running. Having said that, I don't really agree with breaking the bank to get him.

It would also be unfair to say the club hasn't helped messi with quality forwards. We've been pretty much buying the best forwards to partner with him for a decade.
Considering we don't know when our next CL is going to be. Whereas with messi and since 2009 we were clear favorites or strong favorites every year. How we manage to not win many is a different subject.
I'm not saying sign Neymar for 200m. I even stated he's not even worth close to that. And he's only 27, so he's still got some time before he hits 30. He's still in his prime. Yeah, I know he has had injury problems..... but don't make out he's past it and he's old. He's still got years left in him. I would be up for giving up Rakitic, Dembele on loan and like 100m euros in 2 installments. At least then it's not all that bad.
At the end of the day, we ain't getting no new coach and we're not going after any other players. Neymar would help us for the time being and for the possible future. He's the best possible option out of a bad situation. If we stick with this same squad, we are not finishing top 2 or getting past the quarter-finals in the Champions League. Heck, there's a chance we might not make it out of the group stages with that idiot in charge. With Neymar we'd have a better chance of winning trophies. With Dembele..... we literally don't.
I have no clue why you're using Liverpool as an example because they have a better attack, defense and goalkeeper than us. Heck, even their midfield is on par with ours. They didn't win the Champions League and finish 2nd in the league with 97 points for nothing. By the sounds of it, you're making out Liverpool's team is average or something.
We lost more because of defense and Valverde's tactics.
Griezmann had zero service, could've been the same with Neymar.
Right now Valverde replacement is the most needed thing, more so than Neymar.
