We need to try transfers like that after we secure someone like Ten Hag as a manager. Someone who could work with these players and help them get to the required level.

Signing players with potential and handing them to a conservative moron like Valverde is surely not the way.

Liverpool built a formidable side on the cheap because they have a great manager. What did PSG with Mbappe and Neymar achieve? Nothing. Embarassed themselves vs the worst United I've ever seen.

The way is not to keep retards as managers and giving them fail proof players. The way is getting a top manager and really build a new team. There is plenty of quality at Barca.

With 300m you could build half of a possible best team in Europe if you get that key piece which is central to everything, which is and can only be the manager.

I am willing to bet actual money that EtH won't even be among our top three candidates upcoming summer.

It's going to be either Koeman or Roberto Martinez, two bang average club managers.

This BS about EtH not speaking Spanish, as if it's effected teams before, and him not having the mythical Barca DNA will go against him.

Exactly. Check Bielsa at Leeds, turned them into a great team but can hardly speak a word of English, needs a translator in all his interviews.

ten Hag hasn't lost an away game against Bayern, RM, Juventus, or Chelsea in the CL during his tenure. Guy would lead us to the CL simply on the virtue of not bottling/losing away games.

Seriously, this should be the no.1 requirement for the next manager. Can he play his brand of football in hostile conditions? If not, please don't bother. Our objective is winning CLs to reestablish ourselves as THE premier club in the world.

will be bayern coach though

Neymar is by far not my most beloved player and his diving sessions were a joke - however, instead of doing nothing, in the winter transfer period, if there is a chance to get him for a reasonable price say~100mio - SURE.
1.He has proven that he wants/loves to play with messi and Loise the Jaws Suarez
2. He is more effective then Griez, Dembele or Coutinho and other option we have...

Neymar in form + one solid defensive midfielder and CL is an option ...

Yes, he is a flamboyant/borderline crazy guy, but looking at his football skills, even recently 6 games 4 goals - in the mickeymouse liga in 2 matches he was the matchwinner, in the last stages of the game - doing this for a club he is not really a big fan of. You cant take this away from him.

What makes you people think that Newmar will not be injured 70% of the time he would be here ? Or that he won't miss all the important games of the season ?

You want to bring an injury prone player to a team that the coach doesn't care about physical trainings ?

Our players get injured often as it is , he comes here and he'll play 10 games / season.

Neymar's injuries are nothing serious, bone fractures heal easy without long term complications.

what makes you think that it will that bad? because he had a bad fall season so far? well I think insuries are distributed, dont think he is a insury magnet ala dembele. When he was is playing for barca he was not i-prone. sometimes I have the feeling that players hide behind insuries when they do not like the club/manager/...

most injuries do heal, most (not all!) of the player get back in form.
how many players do we know that end their carreer with 28 because of insuries well some but not the majority... and how many find a way to recover? yes, they might no longer be as strong - but neymar was never a physicall strong player but one with touch and finesse.

Him being out a total of 1 year in his 2 years at PSG.

Of course , he could stop with his injuries for all we know but i find it weird and desperate for some users to believe that him coming here will be only rainbows and sunshine while there is a really good chance he could be out , again , for a long time.

Does Dembele's injury change our line of thinking? If Dembele is permanently done, do we have another go at Neymar? Or do we just continue with Messi, Suarez and Griezmann?

Facts.

He is yet to play in CL elimination rounds with PSG. His life stile and age don t project that his trend of injuries will reverse/end.
His price and his injuries make him a high risk purchase. Add to this his Barca exit, where he basically fucked us on multiple levels and let s not forget
his Loyalty law suit issue. For some reason fanboys keep ignoring this unpleasant thing.

He played against RM in 17/18 and was absolutely useless with his sideways dribbling.

Regarding the law suit, I never understood why Barca made the loyalty bonus count before the transfer window ends?
In the end of the day he is not in the wrong in demanding it if its in his contract. The thing which irritates me is he/his father lied to the club telling them he wont leave. Thats Figo-level backstabbing.

I don't understand it either. 180m+ for 28 year old winger? Also, his salary is 30m+ a year. Why do people want him so badly? Especially with his injury record. Lol
