Arsenal players get the benefit of the doubt though, eh? Cause they won against the best teams in the world? Which though? Apart from a draw/penalty shootout against City in a glorified friendly.

Its not just the Community Shield though.. it is also the 'top five team in Europe' award if can beat City to it.

Arsenal beating City in a friendly means it all... Barca beating Real to league? Nah.. Real just didnt try all that hard and still superior in every position as won CL two seasons back.

Barca really should try to swap Balde for Mendy and that elite ability he has.

You think they shouldn't be seen as better than us? I think they should. For the investments they continue to make to improve their team compared to us.

Aye just like Spurs you claimed a 'tier above'.

Like you had Real as CL favs and they would canter to the league etc.

But aye... Mendy etc is better than Balde as won CL two seasons back..

Anyway, Barca should continue to improve and I'm sure they will develop more and eventually breach top 4-5. Hopefully by that time, we could hit 2-3 top transfers for 40-50m each at best and complete the team.

Without 3-4 major transfers, it won't happen though. Hopefully Roque is one of the 4.

Aye...not like just beat Real to title is it....

Maybe one day likes of Balde can be better than CL winner Mendy.

Mendy = Elite. Serghie rules.
