Paying release clause is bad for the FFP and would go over the yearly budget surely? Swap deals are also bad for agents. The way to make it work is for each club to sell each other the players they want and to pay over some years. They just need to agree on the price difference. I hope it doesn’t happen though for the reasons I said before.

Paying 222M euros would still be a bad business from our part IMO. The guy is 2 years older now and had 3 major injuries in that time. A realistic price would be in the 170-180 million area.

I don't see PSG selling him for a reasonable price. Like even if they came to realization they paid too much 2 years ago and for some reason want to sell i don't think they'd just hand him to Barca for like 150M or something.

He is fantastic if he is fully fit but with the way he left, the drama surrounding the whole story, his recent injuries, his dad and friends etc i don't want him back. Only if it was too good to pass on like a swap with Coutinho and Barca not paying that much on top of it but i doubt PSG would accept that. Giving away their biggest star for a player that is pretty much a failure at this point and not making a huge profit off that would make them look silly.

Anyway, selling your best player will always be a bad move for PSG, however we want to spin it.
A Neymar fit 50 % of the time is better than a Coutinho fit 100 % of the time without doubt.
