I don't get what's so funny about that. It's serious. Sao Paulo, Corinthians, Vasco, Santos, Internacional are really good teams. And flamengo, botafogo, palmeiras, fluminense, cruzeiro are also good, though somewhat weaker. I don't get why people underrate so much the brazilian league. Especially because Barça has lost to teams from here before, and wasn't just once.

Funny thing is that I just saw a discussion on a brazilian forum, claiming la liga is crap. And the only reason Messi and cr7 score so many goals is because all the other teams are weak... Sometimes I think about giving up football foruns, so much bias.

That would put a huge spoke in the works. Can even Barca and Real match their financial capability?

the transfer money up front offer won't be that different but non can compete with the wages Man C is gonna offer. Then again Man C can't compete with the prestige the other two offer. It'll be up to the player (and his agent of course, Man C can kinda maneuver on this though)

The fact that the Brazilian national team has to rely on Lucas from Liverpool in their midfield and Robinho up front shows the current state of Brazilian football. Where are those talents from "Sao Paulo, Corinthians, Vasco, Santos, Internacional" if they have to nominate freakin Ronaldinho again for the national team? A league where Ronaldinho (long past his best) scores a hattrick against one of the best teams in Brazil (Santos, who conceded 5 goals in that game, a disaster when it's not against European top teams like Manchester United, Bayern, Real Madrid or Barcelona) is a joke. Nothing to do with bias.

With all this talk about Neymar people are forgeting about Ganso. I personaly find him 10 times better, the ones who get their hands on him will be hitting jackpot.
oh and yes, i know he is a midfielder.

I don't really care whether Neymar signs for Madrid or Man City?We already have in-house solution in the name of Gerard Deulofeu.I have no doubt the lad will be massive for us.

No, that has to do with Mano Menezes's poor coaching, and because almost all young brazilian players that shine are quickly bought from europe teams. One thing for sure is that here there isn't money to compete with english, spanish and italian teams. Leandro Damiao is a good example. He will be off in december for sure. Neymar, Ganso and Lucas from sao paulo are still here, but will go soon too. But the league is not weaker because of that. A team like mallorca, or levante, or any other midteam from spain are not better than the teams from the brazilian league. If any of those teams (Sao Paulo, Corinthians, Vasco, Santos, Internacional) would play the spanish league, they'd be behind rm and Barça, but would play on the same level as the others. The brazilian league is not as weak as some here believe.

And you can't take one game to judge if a team is good or bad. It's not because santos conceded 5 for flamengo, that the league is weak. Barça lost at home to hercules last season, who got relegated later on.

Ganso was playing really badly since his big injury. And it's starting to get injury prone. Neymar's been way better than him.

After the final whistle of yesterday`s Superclassico das Americas, Neymar:

"You cannot compare Messi with anyone. It is his dribbling which is so close and so neat, nobody else can do this,"
"Only a genius can do the things he does. I try them, but..."
"Cristiano Ronaldo has style but I`m the handsome :p"
