For our setup under Valverde Kante brings more than Busquets. Busquets is still the best DM in the world in highly mobile and fluid midfields where there is constant movement around him and he can pick up clever passes. He is the best 1 time passer in the world Busi, but how can he use this ability of his when the players are dead slow and barely moving out of their positions around him? Take the Roma game we lost 3-0. That match was basically where Kante makes an instant difference, and the type of game Busi struggled with almost every time he played in his career.

The problem i see here is the price tho, i mean would he even be a safe starter? Kante-Rakitic-Busquets would be super defensiv and far away from "barca style" so that would be more something for a CL away game we have to defend, would we really splash 100+ mil on a player like that? Wouldn't be a star signing like Griezmann after all.

Also Valverde hardly played 3 in midfield last season.. expect him to stick with 4 again so easily enough space.

But they have got three CDMs. Baka, Kante, Jorginho. We know that Sarri plays 433, I could see him going after Thiago. Kante's rumours are starting to hurt us.

Kanté would be IMMENSE for us. Forget everything I have said about Thiago etc. Kanté is a complete midfielder and would boss our midfield; ferocious, tenacious and extremely intelligent. Throw 100 mil euros for him, if that will make Chelsea accept. Then make a sponsorship deal with Duracell for 50 mil euros. Done. He just goes on and on and on and on. Unstoppable stamina. What a player.

We can get Kante, sell Gomes and Rafinha and it will be great
And throw remaining budget for a deal with Ajax to bring De Light and De Jong next season

We also have Vidal, Mina, Digne and Cillissen that could been sold. Only cillissen needs a replacement when they use someone from La Masia as LB backup. Hope we can secure Kanté instead of Rabiot.
