Immediately bossing it at City. He would definitely have a place here as first or second choice in the double pivot to be Pedri's partner. He's a different profile to Casado and a better DM than Frenkie (who would be a decent but not amazing sub for Pedri but ideally we'd have to sell him). The train is gone now that he is at City. Bernal has a higher ceiling, I hope he bounces back from his injury well

Does any country come close to Spain & Masia in producing quality Midfielders.

As I wrote some weeks ago, his stint at City will determine whether our sale was either good business or a disaster.
If he makes it at City, this will prove to be one of the worst deals ever

What if he comes home on a free when he's at a world class level.

You know Masia kids always come home if we really want them to.

The pressing from Newcastle there is abysmal.

No idea what their plan was with that.

Looked like for whatever reason they decided to leave him on the ball.
