Nico Gonzalez

Valverde recorded a top speed of 37.4km/h in CL this year. For reference Araujo recorded 33.7km/h and Dembele recorded 34km/h in CL (although he was just back from injury at the time).

Guy is seriously fast and athletic. Easily one of the fastest players in Spain (on those numbers, faster than Adama). Real have got a great midfielder there unfortunately.

Nico also used to be pretty fast and agile before he decided to take up a career as a bodyguard.

Valverde is easily superior to Nico. Imo, it's not even close. Nico is better at dribbling but that's that.

Camavinga is also a bright talent.

Pedri probably needs to ask Nico how to have a bodyguard body.

I give Nico 18% chance to make it big. Valverde is almost there, only lacking a proper coach who'd go with that midfield rebuild.

Not even the same category.

Them having comparable minutes speaks more about types of coaches clubs hire (Koeman, Xavi vs ZZ, Carlo), and stages the clubs are in (so called Valverde stage for Rm, even though they're doing their rebuild by bringing all these players for bigger roles in the future and keeping them satisfied temporarily and a full rebuild after a series of fuckups for us) than about their respective qualities as players.

Thanks but no thanks.

Nico has managed to lose on pace and agility, not gain much on strength, and also accomplished to tire easily.

I'd pass on advice from him.

Nico?s body growth is natural. He used to be tall and lean at Juvenil, you can see from his elegant playing style. He is not used to his new massive body for now, which is why he seems clumsy and is often late to challenges.

He can reach the level of SMS imo, pretty similar players. That guy is massive and a wizard on the ball. Nico needs to learn how to use his physicality and make it consistent with his good technique.

Ah yes, the 100m man, who ended up getting stuck in Italy.

He is a crack though, underrated cause he plays for a shit team. Lazio do not want to sell him, and few clubs can afford to splash 80+ m on a midfielder. He is not worth that much, probably 50-60m, but still a great player.

Sound like a broken record, been saying this for literally years, but its obvious how much slower and immobile the weight has made him.

He can barely turn or run and loses energy so quickly.

He's just not very intense.

Maybe he needs to sit in front of the defence playing Busquets part. CM is not his forte.
