There is rumour about some Basque tax that will balloon his release clausw cost north of 80M. Don't know if it is accurate info or an outdated one.
If it is the former, then yeah it doesn't make any sense to go for him as it will be an overpay and big cash investment too.

That doesn't even make any sense considering the law was changed more than half a decade ago and the player pays the buyout fee to the league who then transfers the money to the club.
I just saw that this garbage was reported by Sport which makes sense. They're frauds.

There's no tax implications here. The bigger issue for the club however is paying that much money up front.

There's a reason there's way more of such deals being made the last 5-6 years even by Spanish clubs. No more 20-40% taxes in addition to the buyout clause.

We need clutch, poachers to convert. We have no chance in hell Nico would outplay what Real has to offer.
But again we have Vitor, maybe that's the plan.

He's a case of interesting profile rather than great player. Would take him over Ferran, but I don't think he's necessarily a better player.
Nah he's is definitively a better player than Ferran, but that's isn't a high threshold  But I agree with some of you, his close control and first touch is a little meh - if we compare to Vini it's night and day. Maybe we should look at somebody else, but we need better scouts so we pull a Vini/Rodrygo/Endrick and no more fucking scrubs like Rouque. It's actually incredible what RM have pulled on the transfer market lately, we are behind on that front...

I don't even know who we could buy for the left winger position. Of the famous and AVAILABLE players, no one impresses me very much.
Maybe this guy ...

Why do black kids from the netherlands have these extravagant americanized names?

Memphis, Virgil, Denzel, Cody, Quincy, Crysencio Summerville. Looked through the youth nt's and saw Ezechiel, Jayden, Precious, Jesse, Don-Angelo, Jaygo, Austyn, Eternal.

Barca were in on all Rodrygo, Endrick and Vinicius. You didn't need scouts to see they had great potential. For Vinicius they had a deal, but fucked up not closing it. With Rodrygo the situation was more complicated due to Santos having sued us for that Neymar deal.

Players like that don't exactly grow on trees either. If you're going to wait for a player like Vini Jr or even Rodrygo you might be waiting 5+ years.

So are we going to get this guy or nah ?

Have no ideea about him , is he any good ?

Why not just put Raphinha on the left side since he had some great games there and just keep Yamal on the right ?

This money should be used for a striker. If we don't see anyone decent , just save the money for next summer.

Laporta had the oportunity to broke the bank for Endrick. I don't think we can get players like him in the future since are not that common. Vini is not that common too so I highly doubt we can get talents like that in the future. So the next 5 years Real will be more tehnical and there is no debate.

He is Dumbele v2 with more hunger. That's it. Might work but nothing so special.

Didn't really do much or have to do much this game, but the perks for Spain to have someone like him instead of Dani Olmo or Ferran Torres is that he keeps a defence honest as he makes some good runs behind and is too quick to give a lot of space.

He's your complimentary winger like Giuly or Rodrygo, so if you have a Lamine then he is absolutely fine.
