He played well yesterday. Could have easily had an assist or more from what I saw, if his teammates were not wasteful.
What I did not like is that he doesn't really press but that also goes for entire Bilbao team.

2 goals and 2 assists in 13 games
That absolutely Dembele v2.

Bryan Zaragoza plays well too and he is valued at 13 mil? If we give 15 mil to Bayern they will be happy to accept em and we have a midget that plays well and offers the things we lack while having the same effectiveness as Nico on 1/5 of the price.

Already mentioned Bryan as a good option in Barca rumours thread. I have some doubts over indulging Lamine too much as well with getting his friend here.

Comparing NW on Bilbao to Raphina/Lamal on Barca is Off - not sure how much it's off by.

NW on Spain more comparable to Raphina/Lamal on Barca.

You can never assess a player based on their numbers in a different squad and tactical setup. There's a connection between him & Lamine that is plain to see beyond their friendship off the pitch

Plus, he's got a great head on his shoulders

58m euros.

An absolute bargain in today's market
That's what the fans of Coutinho Dembele Griezmann Ferran told me.
Ratio has the same numbers as full-back and he is valued at best at 5 mil. Bryan was 17 mil.
Are you working for his agents, Bartomeu?
If he would play in Kosovo I guess his value will be 100 000 kg of lead and 3 burgers.

Taking players based on assumptions and hopes usually costs others 5-10 mil while in Barcelona 80-164 mil.

4 goal contributions isn't such a bad start for a 22 years old playing with Bilbao, a clubs that lacks a goal scoring threat, where Nico is the player whom most clubs will plan to stop as a priority

However, 60 isn't really a bargain, a player like him should be in the 50M-70M range. It is fair market price.

Bigger problem will be his salary, Chelsea already deemed his demands too big in last summer, Arsenal has made him a priority next year. He is unlikely to be paid fairly.

He would still be good addition, question though is whether we need him for that price as 4th attacker? Or it would be better to allocate our resources another way?

It's a bargain because you can't get a winger that's equal to him from a talent prospective for less or the same money.

He's a guarantee success if we sign him.

Anyone else would either be a talent, a gamble or cost more.

I still believe 20 + mil is a risk no serious club should take. Fair price for Bartomeu, United, but not me. For 60 you need something big in my opinion or to at least dribble half the pitch if you don't have the numbers.
I don't demand numbers from Maradona.

Considering Lewa we should focus on a striker and Bryan for a low cost replacement for Ferran. I don't think we should fill our team to the brink with runners. Never liked them because they are extremely boring 90% of the games

There are a few things that worry me. He's not a good finisher and more importantly he's Lamines buddy. I don't want another amigo situation where player power dictates and the coach is a lame duck.
We've seen that movie before and it ended horribly. At the end the whole amigo situation was toxic and Rakitic spilt the beans on it.
The manager is THE Boss, not the players. We've had enough situations where the tail has wagged the dog.
Give me Marmoush anyday. He can play both LW and CF.

Bilbao, a clubs that lacks a goal scoring threat,
Just plain nonsense, they have the same goals scored as Atleti and only three less than Madrid. Even if that wasn't the case, any player that is supposedly worth 60 million should perform on his own.

Right now there's need for another LB. Miguel Gutiérrez would be nice, plays for Girona.

Generally, consistency is key, I am sure Antony was also worth 100 million if you look at a few goals, and ignore the rest.
Zaragoza also looks nice at the price, but why would they sell him?
