If Thiago leaves and if Atletico wants to sell Oliver, Barca should get him. Real Madrid have already signed Isco & now trying to sign Illaramendi whereas Barca is on the verge of losing Thiago...At the moment Barca's midfield is stronger than Madrid's but Barca should keep an eye on the future of midfield.
overall their mildfield is stronger than ours but our starting mildfield is stronger than theirs
Their midfield is better because they have better tactics, simple as that. Irrelevant how much better our midfield is player-to-player if they have better tactics.
Their midfield is stronger physically and much more varied in terms of strengths.
Khedira - defensive discipline and tenacity
Alonso - passing range
Ozil - vision, movement and passing
Di Maria - pace, dribbling and hustle
Just because they played well against us recently doesn't mean their midfield is better than ours. Iniesta & Busquets are still the best at what they do, its just that Xavi last season wasn't the player he used to be because of his age, He can still do a very good job but cannot play 40-50 games a season anymore, he needs more rest. Tito should realize that and give him more rest next season. Xavi, Iniesta & Busquets was the midfield trio that ruled the world for 5 years, now we just need to find a suitable long term replacement for Xavi...#OlivertoBarca
Don't know if true or false
Supposedly, When Barca and Atletico got together to negotiate for Villa, Barca was able to obtain a priority "deal" over Oliver torres. If Atletico receives an offer for Oliver and wants to sell him, they will give barca the chance to get the player if they pay the same amount.
Heard it on a spanish sport news from a journalist ( Atletico madrid fan).
You're just trolling us, cuz if that was true, I wouldn't give a damn about Thiago anymore.
Just imagine a midfield partnership of Samper and Oliver.
It makes sense for Barca to keep Atletico sweet if they want to make a move for Torres at some point. It would also enlighten us as to why no one at the club seems to be bothered with Thiago leaving, maybe they see Oliver Torres as Xavi replacement.
So how do we gain some real traction on getting this young man? Getting him would be the only thing that will ease my pain this summer.
