Horatio

You're welcome
The max the poor guy can achieve in this forum is an Okay.

Reminds me of the nice comments his haters over-listed about his awful and tragic video-game playing habits.
The forum was in a state of commotion about it.

Just yesterday one of the most read French papers came up with an interview with Mbape, who said his favorite spare-time activity is playing football on his console with his best friend Kurzawa.
In two hours the French forums were filled with comments about how nice it is of him that even if nobody forces him, he still "concentrates" on football during his free hours.

That's the difference.
So an "okay" for Dembelé is actually a great applause in this place.

What are you saying? An okay is clearly not the highest he can achieve. He has played great games for Barca. But yesterday was one of those games where his focus was not fully there and he started to force a good performance, leading to some bad decisions and easy disposessions and some sloppy passing.

there are some rumors that united is willing to offer 100+m for him. i think they would be the only ones crazy enough to actually offer that sum

Look at Suarez being pissed again, because Dembele didn't pass to him LMAO (despite the fact that the only reason he is left alone is because Dembele forced the man who covered fatass, to cover him after he smoked the LB with pace). After he sees that Dembele passed to 2nd post he immediately starts bitching instead of seeing what's going on and puting himself into space if Griezmann passes back.

Suarez looks like he is running in mud.

Five minutes later Suárez received a great pass from Dembélé but fucked it up.

Dembélé created 2 clear chances in the first few minutes that very well could have ended in assists. Don't like the attitude of Suárez who screams around like a dictator. Better concentrate on himself.

1. dribbling talent as well, almost as good as Messi is ...

2. high center of gravity,

3. unbalancing factor for himself too,

I can NOT agree...

1. if you watch how close Messi has the ball on his feet while dribbling, then this is a HUGE difference to Dembele.
there is a reason why messi can dribble INTO a pack of ppl. - Dembele ... very rarely. He needs space...

2. height - Yes, Maradona, Messi, Romario, Franco Zola have lower center of gravity.
Dembele is 1.78, but it seems Neymar with 1.75 has no problem of gravity, nor had Zidane 1.85, Ronaldo Nazario 1.83, Ronaldinho 181, .... so maybe there are also advantages that outweigh this, or -> it does not really matter much.

e.g. taller players have longer arms and can keep them better at distance, or span of legs to play round players is better... and so on...

3. "a unbalancing factor"
good overservation, I am sure his skilled manager told him to train his core muscles. :weakbench:

Recently, instead of playing, Suarez has been screaming & complaining a lot on the pitch, and this is very annoying to me.

....

Well, I would care about this if he wouldnt clumsingly lose every (in words: "e-v-e-r-y") ball given to him.
He poses a terminal stop of a passing chain ...

If I would be in that lacklustering form - I would be pissed too. He is producing so many "you cant be serious moments" more than any other player today.

He needs space...

He needs more space because of his different characteristics.
Time will tell how far his talent can really go, most probably not in this slow and sluggish Barca team though.

Firstly I don't think Dembele would be 1.78, probably it's just a press-typo or something similar, he definitely looks not less than 1.8x
Secondly he has proportionally long legs, which places his C/G even further up.

When you look at his touches when dribbling, you can notice that almost all his touches are sort of ignorantly soft, this is how he's trying to keep the ball close to his legs, but at the same time this is also the source of his mistakes.
Nevertheless he has very good dribbling talent, something that only a handful of other Barca players can claim, like Semedo a bit, Busquests when he is not in snail-mood, actually nobody else in the team, of course apart from Messi and perhaps Fati, but it's too early to tell.
That's why it's nice to see him sometimes, when majority of the team are not good dribblers.
His two-footedness, pace and dribbling capabilities alone would make him very promising. Let's see.
