Ushering decade of dominance for QSG imminent, courtesy of Snakele.
One of the biggest flops in football history, thats his legacy here. What's his Legacy at Barca? Not a legend obviously but a cult hero/icon?
French media and journalism hate him. He'll be destroy daily in media output. Except for his last trainer and player, everyone think he's pretty dumb, low IQ, never take good decision, doesn't take care of his health. He has a bit of a point.
The whole season was going to be him on a lower wage and going back and forth with board about new deal and probably club going after him through media.
Correct call for him to go into steadier surroundings and get better money really.
But he has to realise both his agent and club created the situation.
Dont blame him really for going when weigh up what current season was going to be like.
Probably best for him and club to move on from another year of that really even if Xavi wanted him in team.

Now we'll never know which news is true, but the reality of the situation is that Dembele would always have people that hate him here for missing that Liverpool chance, getting injured at critical parts of the season, and costing us much in transfer fees without producing results and no one can blame them for that, and Dembele tends to make funny decisions sometimes which gets the fans angry again. This is why they always come from him whenever he makes any mistake so it is just a matter of time for both parties to part ways and for him to seek a new start.Dembélé's last words to Xavi: "Boss, if it was for you or the fans, I would have stayed, but this is not the problem..."

That's why his decision wasn't shocking to me (many people would've made the same decision under the circumstances), cause it gives him a new start with a new environment, higher wages, and less pressure. You'll even see fans saying that Kessie's goal against Madrid is a better legacy than whatever contribution has come from Dembele so the transfer was only a matter of time, his choice of Club is questionable though but his leaving was inevitable.
I dont know whats up for debate here. Isnt he going to get 20m net there?
