The local Bulgarian commentator of the match called that intentional disgraceful action by Fekir. Of course he narrates almost every Barca league game and he is very likely to be a fan of the club. But I think Fekir was just positioning himself to be smashed by Dembele's body so he can get the foul call.

I agree these kinds of fouls finally need to get into the book, dangerous.

Should go for finesse more often. It is always power over precision for him. Results in some bangers but also horribly misplaced shots.
But no discussion that our attack would be dead against serious opponents without Dembele. His presence alone opens up the middle, he is the most dangerous on the counter and prevents opponents to play a high line without worries. And of course he can create from scratch himself.

His level is basically where he would be when we signed him if not for those injuries. Getting regular playing time for first time in like ever but playing like a still unpolished 21 year old.
Luckily he's still young, but those injuries delayed him from reaching his potential.

Don't see it this way anymore. He is putting solid 7/10 or 8/10 performances week in and week out. Less of the crazy stuff he used to do occasionally but much more reliable in the basics of the game.

He is playing well, and the errors are rarer. He will still have the off crap game, but he is consistently good. If he stays fit he's a valuable player for us.
