If I were Dembele I would sue the hell out of Valverde and his staff.

It's clear now how Ernie's 'no physical preparation' damaged poor Dembouz's fringe muscular system resulting in horrible injuries

Or more likely he was just an unprofessional player. Ask Messi or Ronaldo, they need no one to ask themself to eat and stay healthy.
PSG must damaged Neymar's body or Bayern damaged Thiago as well.
Don't blame other because of something you can do by yourself. Eating healthy is not that difficult. Even a normal person can do it, let alone a football player with much more service.
And why only Dembele was damaged by EV but not other players??? Rakitic for example, played much more, ran much more than Dembele in his entire career, didn't have any major injury. It is up to players.
As if coach forced him to eat junk foods and went late on training.

You're welcome
Can't blame Valverde for Dembele's lack of diet. There is no such thing as a diet police within clubs. Once Dembele leaves the club's grounds he's free to eat whatever he wants and nobody will find out.

I didn't say about eating junk food, that's player's responsibility mostly and minor responsibility to the club nutrition specialist for designing a good one.

I said about the lack of physical preparation in training (no training basically under beloved Ernie).
And no, it does not apply to Rakitic, as not all players are vulnerable there.
Dembele's muscles are made out of glass and break easily, especially if training does not take care of them

Bayern must damaged Thiago as well, no preparation at all.
One of reasons that Dembele is healthier now is his nutrition. He eats better now compare to him in the past. It is up to him. Just don't eat junk foods too much, lazy on training, playing fifa instead of training then you can be healthy.
Just stop blaming something so obvious.
Should i blame EV for Dembele's spainish???

Going on a tangent here, but is the club and staff not responsible for the physical condition of our players? The fact that we couldn't run and barely trained is one of the reasons why we struggled to compete against higher calibre opposition.

And diet isn't the only contributing factor to health so although dembele is not faultless in this, the club shares just as much blame, especially when you bring in a 19 year old kid. He's finally started to mature and has taken additional steps himself to try improve his health and physical condition on top of the changes that Koeman has made.

Why only him being an injury prone but not others??? Why just don't accept that some players are just vulnerable to injury??? Is Pep the one that make Aguero being injuried??? Wad Bayern so bat at training that Thiago became an injury prone???

Nutrition is a big part here. According to Birdy's post that Dembele changes his way of eating that makes him healthier, also bash EV and Barca's staff for Dembele's injuries. Make no sense. As if they forced him stayed injuried, forced him to eat junk foods, played fifa instead of training.

Koeman has changed a lot but also Dembele starts to think and act like a football player, not a clown like he used to

It's obvious He's more injury prone than other players, I'm not disputing that.... Bashing EV's staff is totally justifable on every fucking level. Theres a reason we could barely run and compete against elite teams and that's down to the lack of physical preparation (Mr "physical training isnt important" Valverde) and carrying that same concept by putting 2-3 players who could barely move against elite opposition.

Secondly although i didnt mention this in my previous comment but the club should of known better, our support staff are meant to be fucking professionals (we pay them for this no?) who are able to take care of our assets (players) and know when players are more injury prone and adjust training and diet to try mitigate an future injuries. Expecting a 19 year old kid with about a year in the top flight to be mature enough to do this themselves isn't realistic or likely.

I Personally dont think its diet alone but if you guys want to believe that then so be it. I think its a combination of more rigorous training across the board as well as specialised training for dembele on top of diet.

Under EV Barca still won two Liga tittles in a row, Copa del rey winner one time and runner up one time. Still could competed at UCL and if all of Coutinho, Suarez or Alba had scored just one goal when they faced Alisson in one on one situation, Barca would have reached the final. That team still competed for tittles.
That said, EV may not focused on physicality, something Koeman has changed.
Diet alone is not enough, but it plays a big part. You can train best way possible but with poor diet, it is not effective. Just like you train like crazy at gym then spend whole day eating junk foods. No way.

The cult that formed around a doormat like Valverde is simply baffling. Not a legend of the club, as mediocre manager as they come and yet there are people that will argue with everything they can when it comes to their beloved Bartomeu puppet.

My explanation is that they probably share the same doormat qualities but could be wrong.

Typical brainless comment that contribute nothing to the topic.
Prove that EV forced Dembele to eat junk foods, played game instead of training, will you??? That is what we debate here.
As a coach who is in top 4 most wins in Laliga history, far from mediocre.
