He was definitely a raw and unpolished product when Barca bought him and he hasn't had consistent playing time in the 3 years before this due to injuries.

Now that he is getting consistent playing time, perhaps he works out the kinks in his game, but I wouldn't be too hopeful about it. Does not execute some of the relatively simpler stuff on a consistent basis.

He barely does it in La Liga to begin with.

Even last season where he was scoring multiple goals I kept saying that his overall performance was bad and that it wasn't sustainable.
