I used to and still do have a soft spot for this dude. Mostly because you can tell he consistently visualises certain plays that not many players can naturally. And he tends to find the right spot in the field to not be in the way.

On the other hand, I genuinely think Vinicius has a more consistent impact than he does. Which is hysterical.

The worst thing about this transfer isn't the money spent, but instead the emotional investment so many fans had on this guy. Youtube community, on twitter, reddit, here...

So many people ignoring the obvious flaws in his skills in hopes that he'll be our next elite winger; to carry on the tradition of exciting wingers a la Ronaldinho, Messi, Neymar. It's just sad watching fans constantly hoping only for said hopes to be crushed on a consistent basis. Hopefully we'll sell him along with the other duds in the team, I just dont' see any use in him other than pace.
