Exactly, after he was subbed out we never got those clear chances again. it's best for both sides if he leaves (Dembele is still incredible and he was never a goal scorer - it is not cool but it is what it is). We need a pacy 9 that dembele can also pass to or we sell him. Dembele can still improve another team very well, he probably doesnt fit with us

I was going to say Dehu until I realised we made a huge profit on him somehow.

So I'm going to go with Dutruel. He was clearly only signed because he resembles Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star.

He shouldnt be our 2nd or 3rd most important forward, and we definitely shouldnt count on him being a reliable scorer, but he adds value. Best case scenario is Messi stays, we get a decent CF and Dembele is first of the bench.

Absolutely so.
Nevertheless people here regularly forget that most of the times Dembele creates the chances for himself, even if his finishing is weak, whereas apart from Messi no forward is able to create anything, the main example is being Griezmann.

Some people talk about this guy like he's Robben or Ribery.

Should be two options for Dembele:

1. You sell him this summer even if it's for 30m.

2. You renew his contract where he takes a paycut that resembles that of a squad player, somewhere around 3-4m/year.

You CANNOT pay a player with his injury history, erratic performances his current salary of close to 10m/year, nor can he demand an increase in pay.
