To anyone wondering why he can score bangers and not finish simple chances, there's your answer. When he takes a shot from outside the box, he's not looking at the goalkeeper, picking a spot, and aiming for it like most forwards do. He's literally just banging it as hard as he can and praying it'll get in. He doesn't look, doesn't pick a spot, and he doesn't aim; just drills the ball in. Doesn't really work when you're near the 16 yard box (well doesn't work that much outside of that range either), he reduces the power immensely but he's pretty much doing the same thing (not looking, not aiming, and placing the shot); just hoping it goes in. That's why his finishing is so hilariously erratic. I genuinely don't think he knows how to finish during a competitive game.
Anyways funny video. Some clips are normal misses but a lot of them are just

Yep absolutely embarrassing. I think we have surpassed Arsenal in terms of humiliations/getting dunked on by other clubs. They had that title for quite a while until we started taking over.

Unless he drastically improves his finish and composure in front of goal, I'm all in for him leaving. Even in the best of cases where his general level of finishing improves, i don't see these brain fart plays in high pressure situations going away.
Scoring for him is such a random occurance; and if the stakes are high, his brain short circuits and you get one of those bottom tier finishes like the one versus liverpool or the other day vs psg where he skies the shot or hits a flimsy shot with no power at all. This is not a one-off, this a thing of his.
I had so much faith and high hopes in him but it's hard to keep believing in someone who still hasn't realized he's playing in the big leagues and that level of erraticism is unaccaptable on any department.

I think that's true in the European CL context. But don't break my soul further, lol, Arsenal are the original meme club...the day we really descend to that level...oh my.
Arsenal are a bigger meme because while we crash in Europe we still win domestic titles fairly regularly (fingers crossed). On the other hand Arsenal have become EL regulars and will not sniff an EPL title any time soon.
