What I think matters, to me and that's it, I am not trying to preach here. I am not from the US and not every conversation has to be framed within a particular framework or setting in order to go on. I was simply stating what I think and that's it. I don't have to frame that in the context of the US or whatever.

You're quite literally talking about an American talking point, that exists in the framework of American political and societal issues. I'm not saying your thoughts don't matter to you, I'm saying your thoughts are irrelevant to the substance of the argument(s) that already exist and are substantiated by evidence; independently of whatever your thoughts are.
You can't simply choose to unwittingly partake in the discussions of topics with certain histories and contexts, only to use "I think, I'm not American" as some sort of deniability that somehow gives credence to your arguments. You can't just deny and forsake the history of a topic, because you were ignorant of the circumstances and because you're not American. lol
Just say "oh thanks bro, I didn't know that. Good to know!" and move on. Don't fucking double down like the forum's idiots. You're better than that, bro.
