Missed the match but happy to see he did well. Hopefully his renewal will happen. Beside his flaws and injuries, this dude is the most fun player we have. Even more so after messi left us

Not a Ballon D'Or performance (not that I expected one), but his electrifying pace has that wow-factor you rarely see at Barcelona games now with Leo and some other greats gone. Braindead or not, his opponents have respect for him because it is a standout-attribute.

People also forget that he still is just 24. Give him a coach who tells him exactly what he wants him to do on a football pitch and what he doesn't want to do and he can still be developed into a very useful player. Definitely one of the players who suffered the most of only having laissez-faire coaches at the club who relied on individual brilliance from single players instead of having a clear plan.

The most important thing is that he finally stays injury-free.

He was quite poor even for his standard but still influential, to show how we badly need wingers with pace that can run at defenders but we've always known this (Even Trincao would be influential right now, don't know why Koeman didn't put him in his plans for this season). Maybe he'll get better since it's his first match after his long injury.

Yeah,he is just 24. Like he was 20 4 years ago. He will sign that contract, and in 2 years people will say ''he is just 26''. People never learn. Guess you like to be disappointed all the time.

24 years old is seasoned pro status. He'll be considered a veteran player in two more seasons. He's basically a full fledged player for someone of his role/position. He pretty much almost to his ceiling, if he isn't there already.
