Xavi seems like a weak mother fucker or unsure of himself. Don't think the likes of Pep or Klopp will simp for a bum.

No one is claiming they wont make top four without him but club are not gauranteed to make it or go any further in Europa League.

Improves options for Xavi on both.

Nah Xavi is strong and going against what head of club said as he knows it is best for the club and stupid stance to take and stick to in this situation.

Pep and Klopp would do exact same and want the player playing.

Are you claiming top four is a cert so no need to play him?

When was the time a manager of any club benched a player and did not play him at all for not renewing? A-team players, not the likes of Ilaix. Nuebel? I think Schalke took away his captaincy but did play him.

mikel arteta has more balls and pride than xavi lol

benched auba after disrespecting him

dembele tried to bully the club into a fat contract he didnt deserve from a position of complete weakness: 1) 1 league goal this season (lol) and 2) an awful history of injuries

thankfully we said no, though, judging by how weak and cowardly xavi is, it is probably simply because were in dire straits. it sounds to me like, if we were flush with cash, xavi would have sanctioned dembele's fat demands. which suggests that the leadership of the club has learned nothing

that issue aside, it is a sad day indeed when a great, historic club like barcelona allows itself to be disrespected by a bum underachiever like dembele.

we reinforced our forward line sufficiently with auba and ferran; we do not need dembele and his 1 league goal record.


if xavi plays dembele and we do not make top 4, you lot will have a lot of explaining to do

in fact, you lot are on the hook for every game dembele plays in which he doesnt score or assist

you claim he's a 'difference maker' and that 'we need him' despite little evidence that thats the case.

so itll be on you to explain and acknowledge when that, as inevitably will be the case, proves false

Xavi is correct to play Dembele and improve chances for top four and Europa League.

Not same situation at all as Auba and Arteta who fell out.
