Ousmane Dembélé

Even his mistakes seem more ordinary and normal.
Like when he took the ball for the counter and just randomly passed it in empty space where none of his players was?

Dembele has it in him and probably forever will. Sometimes he can make you wonder the fuck he was trying to do and it looks unexplainable.

Surprised he didn't choke the penalty

Tap in was clean tho, great assist from Konate as well
Dembele also started the move that led to the goal, i'd have to give it to him. He's solid, and has been great so far.

PSG actually looks far stronger than when they had Messi, Mbappe and Neymar, so i'd also have to give it to them as they did a great job with their squad rebuild.

We've got Yamal and Raphinha so we're more than good here.

Very unlikely he would play as a false 9 here.

Would be the RW and prevent Lamine's progress, or be the LW and he's not even half the player there or as good as Raphinha in the role Flick has for him.

Before his fans go apeshit, I'm saying not as good in that role.

Purple patch. He will be wank again this time next year.
Its easy to wait for a player to fall out of form and then claim you were correct about them the whole time ; he's always been a great player so this comment is strange.

The only thing that can be said about him is injuries held back his career massively. Not sure when he was ever 'wank', and dismissing a whole season as a purple patch needs a reason behind it.

In the end it was best for everybody that he left. Worked out for al parties involved.
Yeah, all parties benefitted. Barca got Yamal playing so so good, Raphinha playing and scoring like he's coming for the Ballon D'or and Dembele restarting his career and being great. Rarely happens but all parties benefitted

Great player but overrated back in the day. I think it helped him that people started expecting less when he left Barca. He chokes when people expect him to do something and there's pressure. Also, this is not really whole season. He was good all the season but it's in 2025 that he, along with PSG, moved to a different, noticeable level in performances and started getting these ballon d'or shouts as well.
