There was a Garcia guy that we sold to Espanyol some years back ... wish we gave that lad a chance, he had all the potential to be a great striker. Wonder what happened to him

Give the kid a chance.

You've got to earn the chance. I thought Deulofeu looked quite perky in the Gamper, like someone who might help. Play him, not Paco. As of now, I would avoid ever playing Arda or Paco up front. Try D. Suarez or Aleix if need be.

Unlike last year there is now actually a decent sub for the wing-forward roles (Delofeu) so most likely Paco's only chances will be when he replaces Suarez in the middle, or when chasing a goal and going 2 central strikers. The latter scenario happens what, 2-3 times a season for Barca lol. I think Paco's minutes will be even more limited this season

its time for him to show some personality out there and not look so timid. a year on and you wonder what facets of his game does he excel at. he is like 24, he is no kid, plus he looks 30.

lol @ maxi lopez.

Missed 1 sitter and hate is back I see, I still think he can make it here, he is 2 footed, can pass, has vision, already gave us more than Sandro.

Got to be honest: I've yet to see any evidence that he has vision or can pass. He strikes me as a bang average poacher with poor link up play. But we're stuck with him, so I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

U trolling right? He isn't even 1 footed in a club like Barca - and he can't pass, his vision sucks since he's always like 1 second late for everything and he can dribble for sh*t.
And what do you mean when you say "make it"? Like take over from Suarez in 2-3 years, or make it as a sub in some Copa games?

His passing is not that bad.

Set up a goal for Ney away to Granada I think in game Messi missed also had a good lay off to Suarez in Classico off top of head.

Can you imagine, summer '16 we could have gotten Dembélé and Gabriel Jesus for less than we 50 mil. Instead we wind up with The Valencia boys

I am not sure about criticisim to his passing, 2nd half of the season he was brilliant passer for a striker and always aware of where is his teammates. set up many chances for Messi whenever he played. Unless people expecting a Messi type of through pass -which no no9 does- he is a very good passer for his position

No, it takes 3 parties to agree a deal, 2 clubs and players and in both cases players rejected us. Paco was last resort after we were shut down by almost every striker out there.
