He is a good poacher. Or supposed to be. But that's not enough to play for Barca. Even Bojan was decent at passing and dribbling. Paco is average at everything.

I saw him make a couple, but Messi didn't risk it. Also made two good runs and both were wrongfully whistled offside.

Yes. I'm too confused whether he became invisible or others don't have the belief in him to pass the ball to him.
But I think, it is his mistake too. For Deulofeu's second assist, he was actually looking forward to pass it to someone and Paco failed to place himself in a good position to receive the ball. But dragged the defenders with him though, which eventually gave space to Roberto.

Paco was shit and largely invisible 8 months into last season as well though. Didn't even manage a goal until January or February.

True, but he did improve considerably in the last part of the season as a striker to a relatively competent level.
It is clear that he shouldn't be playing on the wings though and that if he is not going to be replacing Suarez in the middle when the latter is injured then indeed we are better off selling him.
The sad part is that we had a better alternative who can play both as a LW and as a ST ... Tello
