He is the "international Sporting Director" so his job isn't really signing Pogba.he is just an expensive scout/Sporting director assistant.probably the whole getting Pogba is just a publicity stunt

Could get an actual scouting team to do that.

Maybe Braida knows as soon as we sign Pogba he would be rendered useless so he kept pushing Pogba away from us. :troll:

Yeah he is totally useless, regardless of his role and capacity. Through and through.

Then like I said, he's useless.

He might be the 'International scout', but he was primarily brought because of his good relations with Marotta and other Juventus executives.

No one know exactly what is Braida doing. You may be right and he is useless
But if I am gonna take a guess,I think he is sort of a different strong voice for the decision makers
I said it b4,every big club have a big scouting department and probably every player you have heard about (except local players) probably have been scouted by most major clubs.the thing is scouts send their reports and their recommendation to the club and then there are guys who take the decision.
In the club the decision maker are probably Lucho,Roberto, along their assistants and may be some board members . What I think is that Braida is sort of an assistant to Fernandez .a guy whose recommendation is strongly heard within the club.
obviously this is a pure guessing.

Barca will be hard pressed to afford him, right? You would have to sell someone, but who? We can sell James, so we might pull it off.

I doubt Pogba want to stay in Juve for another season to just win another scudetto title. He is ambitious and will be looking to win the UCL. Real won it twice in the past 3 years and have the money to buy him. Plus he will be managed by his childhood idol Zidane. I would say 90% he will sign for Madrid.

There is a 5% chance, Pogba is gonna leave Juventus this season.

Noone really knows how much money we have for transfers due to our new sponsor deals. I wouldn't be surprised if we in the end could afford to splash on him. Whether we're prepared to spend that much on a single target, though, is the question as I see it.

2016: 60m+ transfer budget+ 85m Nike+ shirt sponsorship (xx??)

2015: 60m transfer budget+ 30m Nike+ 30m shirt sponsership

Barcelona has at least 60-80m more money in the next fiscal year.

Pogba hasn't ruled out staying at Juventus another season and Allegri and Marotta have also stated he will stay.

Don't be surprised if he stays. He has many years ahead of him, and one more season with the taste of responsibility without having Pirlo and Vidal to help him out would do him great too.

And we're not signing him this Summer anyway. Arda will get another season here to see whether he can adapt at last or not..

We have too many midfielders as it is. All this Pogba wishes to Barca have no base in reality.

Barca has more pressing issues to deal anyway. As things stand we are letting everyone go for free and can't even convince Denis Suarez to return.

Market changed a lot in last 5 years and Barca, sadly, failed to adapt to new circumstances.

We got Neymar because we cheated and still pay for it.
We got Suarez as Aguero wasn't available and Suarez had fewer suitors due to his tainted image and ban. Being Barca fan helped tremendously too.

That above is your Barca sports directors dealing with superstar signings.
