Not even sure they can afford him. Read they will have the same problem as us last season with their wage bill because all the bonuses from winning the CL. Then there's the fact that they are still on their old Adidas deal, Bale and Ronaldo's contracts being renewed with a pay rise, and last the transfer ban, so they have many other players they need to buy.

Don't forget hat they're most likely going to sell James. That alone should be around 2/3 of Pogba's fee.

Real are definitely capable of going all in this summer and spending loads of cash with the transfer ban coming up, they won't be spending much next summer so they'll do it now.
Our only chance is if he says no and prefers us over them.

This.. Find the right buyer for James and add 20-30M and they have Pogba.. And James won't probably be the only one who leaves Real this summer.. They can get at least 70M for James if they sell to PSG or Man Utd..

Depends on what Pogba wants.

The glamour of Real Madrid where the likes of James and Kroos might be pushed out, or Barça.

this when you spend big money on young promising players, you can still can make good money selling them. We buy players like Turan, Verms, Mathieu that can't be sold for half what we spent.

I doubt Pogba want to stay in Juve for another season to just win another scudetto title. He is ambitious and will be looking to win the UCL. Real won it twice in the past 3 years and have the money to buy him. Plus he will be managed by his childhood idol Zidane. I would say 90% he will sign for Madrid.

I hate that I agree with you.

One thing is for sure though.

If Pogba ends up in any other team than Barça then Braida should be sacked immediately.

He had one job. One.

If he can't even do that then he's useless.

Which means winning the CL with Juve is way bigger achievement than winning it with RM.he is now the superstar of the team and he knows they have very good team and gr8 coach who can with few extra signings and more experience from the younger players can compote for the CL title again.which is what Juve is targeting next year and is actually a realistic ambition.

He is the "international Sporting Director" so his job isn't really signing Pogba.he is just an expensive scout/Sporting director assistant.probably the whole getting Pogba is just a publicity stunt

I feel Madrid will go bat shit crazy to sign Pogba - at which point it's very hard for him to say no, unless he has a Barca fetish, even then it'd be hard to turn down a life changing number.. (not like he'd go hungry playing for us, but yeah )

And it's frustrating that they will sell James for a huge amount even though he has shown nothing this past season. So they should definitely be in pole position to land him.

RM almost always buy players with high sell-on value. It dramatically reduces the risk when they splash big. They very, very rarely buy players older than 25 at all. Thats why they buy players like Pogba, but they wont splash big on someone like Lewandowski for example as he doesnt have 8-10 years left in the tank.

True that.. But it's PSG, they paid 50m for Luiz.. Maybe we could sell them Vermaelen for 10m..
