Paul Pogba

While I don't think Utd would consider selling even for 200 million, don't Coutinho and Pogba kinda occupy the same space on the left? If we see Coutinho as being Iniesta's replacement

If Barca can really pull this off, it would be the perfect window. Even with the Vidal signing, we still need a CM like Pogba or Thiago.

Yeah if you don’t plan to give any minutes to Arthur and Alena.

I would’t go for Pogba this summer. We should first see what kind of season will Arthur and Alena have and than next summer we can also sign De Jong. If that won’t be enough than sell Rakitic and go for Pogba but at this moment bringing Pogba would mean our youth won’t get any chance at all.

Regardless of Pogba, Aleñá won't get any minutes. Time to move on.

at this stage, signing Pogba would just be buying a big name for the sake of buying a big name. our midfield is in great shape currently. Raki will need a rest after his long world cup so Arthur will get his chances as will Alena.

I've always thought Pogba will end up at Madrid, Modric wanting out/aging, they need a new midfielder next summer and Pogba fits the galactico profile

One of those predict the worst and 'told you so' after guys...

This is not hating.
Alena and Samper are currently 9th midfield pick.
Or 10th, if we count Roberto.

Busi, Cou, Raki, Vidal, Arthur, Rafinha, Denis, Gomes and (Roberto) infront of them.

Denis and Gomes can fuck off. Alena needs proper chance and their minutes next year (2019).

Which has nothing to do with Alena being 'lost cause'.

Samper is a lost cause, Alena's coming after a very good season in Segunda.

If we're keeping Gomes and Denis who have no future here and offer nothing at all (!) only to play them in plce on someone who might (not saying Alena has future with the team, but he might), that's short-sightedness.

I think of Coutinho more as a Neymar replacement. He's very attacking.

A Valverde 442 of Pogba, Busi, Raki and Coutinho in midfield could be interesting. Very much doubt we have the resources for that though.

If we didn't sign Vidal and are looking to replace Raki full time Pogba is your guy. But right now we don't need him, I would love to have him at Barca but not worth the amount it costs us. Let's trust Arthur and Alena for now. Once Raki and Vidal become below average players maybe we can splash on Pogba.

I don't think we are after Pogba, but we will just remain opportunistic.
If Manu showed interest in selling him un a reasonable price -I am not sure what is that for a player like him now- we will enter the race for sure. But right now squad need selling more than buying
