No I used him as one of the worst players linked along with Cancelo to say folk predicting those as the only two transfers now are predicting the worst and if wrong in that will easily admit it. Too early to be freaking out that much.

Had nothing to do with trying in some way to protect the board no matter how many times you repeat that lie.

In terms of transfers have never been consistent in any defence so again a total lie.

LOL, you are a passionate defender of the activities of the clowns in charge, constantly spinning their activities as good for the club. Dont try to lie about it. We all know it. Oh, and your lies about me saying Barcelona is the only club that has done bad transfers is pathetic. We are terrible and that doesnt mean every club is perfect. We are just really bad and you obviously cant stomach the truth.

I certainly disagree that Paulinho is a huge outlier given our transfer history. We have a long history of adding garbage to our payroll. You claim that they could all be justified one way or the other and this one cant. I disagree. Sure Paulinho plays in the Chinese league, but so does Alex Teixeira, Oscar and others, players who are clearly good enough for good teams in Europe and Paulinho has been a Brazil NT starter for quite some time now. The fact that Paulinho is 29 fits nicely with our total disregard for value in the market. The timing is bad of course, as people get hyped up about Verratti and big transfers, and we havent signed anyone yet and we are looking into Paulinho. If we had already signed up Verratti and Nelsinho by now, people would have acted differently to Paulinho. But we shouldnt be surprised about anything when it comes to us and transfers.
