To make this clear, him performing well in this particular match is irrelevant with whether will he perform or not generally. After all its still pre season and it was a below average team and you can't use the excuse that they've beaten United cause you can't compare really us with the team that played them and the lack of United score or perform.

The whole thought is that its too early to say that hes back.Saying hes back means its obvious for the people saying it that he will perform well throught the season, its not the right time to judge the players if they will be bad or not right now,we need to wait for some official matches to have a distinct image.

Pedro is better than Alexis in every way possible. Finishing, passing.. And can use both feet/comfortable on both flanks.
And the club didn't have to pay 30+ million euros like for certain overhyped Chilean, aka next Ronaldo, who had one decent half season. 3 years ago, in Udine.

I have not yet watched this game, but, judging from the Santos game, Tata has already begun to shift tactics away from the rigid instructions for the wing forwards to hold the touchline. Forward overlapping is much more fluid, Messi is not as static (pressing again, and dropping away from the centerbacks to receive the ball). I'm not surprised that this is resulting in more direct opportunities for the wing forwards to be in better scoring positions, making runs in the center when Messi drops back.

Pedro is much quicker mentally and has extremely underrated technical ability, his footwork is insanely fast and tricky. Alexis has better movement though, along with linkup. You'll see Pedro bury his chances more often than Alexis, but Alexis will get a lot more of them. They have their own qualities, and it's just good to see that both are performing in preseason, I feel good about our attack as a collective this season instead of only Messi like in recent years.

Pedro will benefit from the team being a bit quicker to get the ball forward and not playing so wide on the right.

He doesnt really have the ability to take players on but put him in dangerous areas with and he can kill the ball and finish in a second.

Speed - Tie
Long range shooting - Pedro without a doubt has a harder shot and can shoot with both feet
Close ranger finishing - Alexis has surpassed Pedro's finishing in last 2 years
Short passing - Pedro
Long passing - Alexis
Dribbling - Alexis even though he's goofy and falls down a lot, Pedro doesn't take players on as much as Alexis.
Workrate - Tie
Heading - Tie
First touch - Pedro
Critics - Alexis
Room for Complacency - Pedro
