Neymar: "Pedro has surprised me. He runs and scores, attakcs and defends. I like him a lot." [md]

Welcome aboard the Pedro train, Neymar!

Pedro 2012-2013 had much more to do with Tito's Messi-centric tactics than Pedro. Everything I've seen so far suggests Martino has fixed the system to restore the fluidity under which Pedro will thrive. No more hugging the touchline all game. No more Messi walking around up front. Pressing- back; overlapping runs- back.

Some people here still underestimate Pedro's talent. Just because he put himself to the service of the team last season doesn't mean he's not a star player. Some of his creativity and touches today show a glimpse that he is so much more than a guy who runs around a lot. If you won't take it from me, take it from Neymar. :D

Fss, asshat. Plays like crap for 2 seasons. Barca invest € 57 million in a new winger. Plays like a God again. Dafuq?! Have you seen that shoulder touch trickery? NeyBENCH getting trolled hard here. :pedro:

They both played excellent. No reason to put down Alexis in order to praise Pedro in that game.

I'm not putting Sanchez down. Sanchez had a good game and was one of the best in pre-season. I'm praising Pedro for doing even better than Sanchez this game.

Pedro: "This was the best way to start, and even more so at home. We played a good game and we know this is the way we should continue."

Pedro: "The training sessions of the new coach are tough, but that's good for us. We feel comfortable on the pitch." #fcblive

Pedro: "Neymar is adapting well. He's talented and he'll show that with us like he did in Brazil. I'm sure he'll add a lot." #fcblive

It's obvious that he suffered from Tito's (and Pep's tactics in his last season), where he had the task to keep the field wide. Yesterday him and Alexis played closer to goal, which suits them much more.
Yeah Pedro thrives as an inside forward, as does Sanchez. We don't need them hugging the touch line when our fullbacks provide width down the wings.
