Yeah... The wrongly disallowed goal aside, Neymar fucked up everything again. But Suarez was even worse and we looked better off with Messi more centralDepends on the game plan. Doesn't really fit with Lucho's run & gun (which was awful today), but was a great fit with Xavi on the pitch and Messi more central.
and buy who exactly?

Once again, the problem is Pedro is our ONLY OPTION. He brings control, but nothing else. He won't ever dribble his man or try to make anything happen in front of goal, which is what our forwards are supposed to do under Lucho. That's why nowadays Lucho opts to bring him on as a midfielder instead of for one of our forwards, no matter how poorly they're playing. Lucho's squad management, especially in our front line, has been simply abysmal.
Tello and Deulofeu are both out on loan because they're not "Good enough", Munir and Sandro are rotting with the B team because, presumably, they aren't good enough either, and Pedro sits on the bench and gets subbed on as a midfielder because he's obviously not good enough either, except he has trophies.
What a joke. I struggle to describe just how much I loathe Lucho and his system. What's worse is how when we win a couple of trophies because of this Lucho will get all the credit despite us being horrible for the entire game most of the time just so we can catch a lucky break and get our points.
"loathe Lucho and his system"? We're nr. 1 in La Liga and comfortable in CL. We've played the best football since 2012 in the second part of the season - but 1 bad game and the hate, hate everywhere. Pedro probably needs to go and Lucho is probably fully aware of that, but what are we supposed to do now? We have to wait and work with what we got.
Our system uses no midfield. At all. Iniesta plays so deep he hasn't made a single goal or assist in over a year and hasn't looked even close to breaking that. This "Best football since 2012" is still pretty damn bad considering we can't even go two games in a row where we play decent football for BOTH halves of the game. Us leading La Liga is down to the Madrid sides playing poorly for one reason or another, and how is the quarter final of the CL against a team we have not been convincing against a comfortable position?
We don't even have a single viable sub on our bench for our front line, but that's okay, because Mathieu scored headers against Madrid and Celta and we're first in La Liga!
Yeah but how is it Lucho's fault we don't have quality subs and a ban forcing us to wait another half season before we can strengthen the team. And so what if Iniesta doesn't assist, we play with a different system that works pretty damn good considering we've beaten City, Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, Real Madrid comfortably in the last 3-4 months. Be grateful for what you have sometime, other teams are not exactly setting the world on fire - from PSG, Chelski, Bayern to Real.

During the first half, looking at how Celta set up today (with a big hole between the lines), I thought this is where Messi should go back to his false nine, even though it'd mean sliding Suarez out towards the wing. But that would also mean bringing on Xavi, because the false nine depends on Messi being brought the ball through the middle.
