Such a literal man I see, obviously they did. In football if you play a good game and you deserve winning it then it is said that you won the game; however if you lose a game and your opponent did not do anything spectacular and you missed your chances then you have lost the game.

Even though Zidane is not necessarily a tactical genius rather a good motivator and confidence builder, the real issue is in the squad. You have players that have already created historical moments and have no higher dreams to reach, they did it all .. in addition they are old and the young active ones are backup quality at best
