Because first off, Madird doesn't need Kane if they get Mbappe as Mbappe will probably play CF for them. Secondly, Kane reportedly wants to go to Bayern as it was reported a personal deal has been reached, it is just a matter of whether Levy will sell him this summer or let him go for free next summer.

There's no way on Earth that a) Kane would prefer Bayern over Real or b) that Madrid would pass up the chance to take both.

People always say this about Madrid. Pogba, Haaland and Mbappe were meant to be there a year ago. But in reality, they still have Mariano Diaz and have just signed Joselu.

Plenty of wingers adapted to a central role and vice-versa. Villa, Henry, Cristiano. Mbappe is not a pure winger like Dembele either, he is a high volume scorer with an eye for goal, and if Madrid get him they instantly line up the best attacking trio by far in terms of individual talent. Mbappe and Vinicius now are 2 of the best 3 players in the world for me.
Plenty of wingers adapted to CF you say? With zero examples? Villa, Henry turned from central roles to the wing. Ronaldo got more central as his career progressed, but never played as a CF (and when he did was shit at it). Who are those wingers? Maybe I am not seeing a very obvious example. Not counting Messi for obvious reasons xD
Mbappe clearly struggles in the center (meaning he's far better playing inverted LW), but hey, he's still very good and gets his numbers. With Vinicius-Mbappe-X you compromise, but it's a good problem to have.
