Gosh what a horrible match. Do not wanna watch it again. Dreadful.
But don't get your hopes up, Barca fans ;) We'll be lurking in the shadows and before you know it - bam! - we'll be making your lives a living hell muahahaha
(Overly optimistic Madridista, I know)

relax guys. its the early days still... madrid's squad is better than ours and time will come when well have to face them.

as to the pepe challenge at the end of the match, yes, it should have been a penalty. but sevilla also scored a disallowed goal in the camp nou, and the match should have ended 3-3. lets not cry fowl over bad refereeing only when it suits our case.

Goal well disallowed. Clear foul on Alves.

I'm sorry, but this is absolute hogwash. Its absolutely amazing that anyone can look at that game tonight and say something like that.

The fact remains,a Madrid team with more experience and better squad finished 15 points of a Barca team that had an absolutely pathetic defense last season.

This season, they've lost one hell of a pragmatic coach in Mourinho(who whether you like it or not, made them somewhat of a force again), replaced him with a Manager that won one league title in 7 with milan, lost their most creative player in favour of an inferior player, and lost their most reliable striker.

And, they've been outplayed by the only two decent teams they've played this season (Betis and Villareal). And....they've had a far easier run of fixtures..And..they stil somehow managed to be 2 points behind...seriously, this list goes on...

Yet, They have a better squad, based on what again?

Sevilla also should have had mbia red carded on the 1st half. The game would've been quite different had the ref showed him his deserved 2nd yellow.

To be frank he is right. Results may not show it but overall, they do have a better squad. They have 2-3 backups for nearly every position so injuries are not even a concern for them. If Neymar, Messi, Iniesta, Pique, or Mascherano get injured, our squad would be in great difficulty.

In the long run, they have a better squad suited to play all competitions until the very end.

They also had a better squad last season right?

EDIT- and what do you mean results may not show it? if results don't show it then what other tangible measure proves how "better" a squad is?

They did have a better OVERALL squad last year. I don't think any non-Barca, non-biased fan would oppose that argument.

Their bench is almost an all star bench. They could field a second team that could challenge for the La Liga and probably be in the top 4. Can you say the same about Barca?

The thing that makes Barca so amazing is the midfield and the attack is some of the best in Barca's history. It's almost as if this team is in a league of its own, and it's very hard for Real Madrid, no matter how many Euros they spend, to flat out be better than us.

Yes, results do determine the better squad. Just look at the Clasicos last year. They just couldn't keep up with the marathon that is the league to actually get the title, it doesn't necessarily mean that they were that much worse than Barca.
