Damn, I miss Pep. I was just looking at some '11-'12 moments and goals the other day and saw him on the bench, I nearly cried.

Hope he gives Tito a call with some tactical advice.

On how not to lose at Bernabeu..it can't be just a coincidence that we didn't lose for 4 years while Pep was our coach and in our first El Clasico in Madrid we already got our first defeat.

OMG, you have got to be kidding me, Pep lost the (by far more important) Clasico at freaking Camp Nou last year, probably the game that cost Barca the league. Tito is the last guy to be blamed for this loss, so stop it.

He genuinely looks like a tourist. :) You don't see him that much anymore in media or anywhere, so it's easier to cope with him being gone, but every now and then when I do stumble upon a picture somewhere, it reminds me of how badly I miss the time when it was him sitting on the bench.

You guys can't be serious. He was a coach, one of dozens in the history of the club. Yes he won a lot of titles but you guys are literally grieving. Give Tito a chance. Pep wasn't as brilliant as you guys think. Popr man management skills, very bad at subs. Let's wait for him to coach a few more teams before we judge. I am one of the believers that Pep's success came at a time where the squad was maturing and with the additions, tweaks and talented youth player and Messi it was the perfect storm. Let's not forget that this man also spent 200 million over 4 years so it's not like he took a bunch of mid tablers and made them world champs.

You're absolutely right, and I can speak for myself only, my posts definitely sound exaggerated, but I can't help it he's just so damn likable. :D And good looking, too. :D

He made his mistakes, as everyone does. But I think it's quite clear that he changed the team after Rijkaard. After a coach changes, there's always new motivation in a team, but it takes more to have a team winning everything possible for 3 years, keep the motivation high. Especially when you have a bunch of euro 2008, and worldcup 2010 winners that have to step back because of a certain genius history has the chance to witness. Apart from mentalitity and locker room atmosphere, he's a great tactician and strategist.

Of course the team matured in a good way, but still, it takes a lot to manage such a team of high achievers. I personally think it is tougher to manage a big clubs current team and a small one's. It's just another atmosphere, another sort of pressure you have. Financially you might be on the good side, but the rest is definitely the contra side.

Yeah..it's not like Barca ever had good, even brilliant players in its history and we still needed 30 years to win the first CL, while Pep did so in his first year(and did it by playing a brilliant football).

Amazing how he won so may titles by being so awfull at everything, isn't it? Another surprising thing is how RM and City spent twice as much in the same amount of time and still didn't manage to win the CL though..I guess the luck and Uefa weren't by their side.

This reminds me of what people say about Messi and the fact that he needs to prove himself at another team or with Argentina before being considered as best in the world. But frankly I couldn't care less if Pep flops at every team he is(and I'll be even happy if he does so at Chelsea) or if Messi doesn't win the WC..they were the best player/coach in Barca's history and I will remember them as such.
