We need to phone Pep for some tactical help! lol jk. Tito is surely monitoring the situation closely, but I get the feeling that he's not able to get his messages through to Roura. We need to be tactically prepared in the next match.

In reply to whoever said that this period of the club will be called Messi's Barca in history, I think it's a little too early to tell. As a period in football in general, I agree, this is Messi's era, but in Barcelona, we'll have to wait and see how Tito does with this team. Because if he fails, Pep's Barca is what will go down in history.

We are going to win a league title withiout a coach
And it could be a double if we fluke our way past Madrid
I have no doubt it will be Messi's Barca

So, are you saying that the only way we can beat RM is by a fluke?

...oh wait, you're the same guy who claims that Pep didn't have any influence on our past successes. Never mind...

Pep won 14 trophies in 4 years. I don't see any other coach getting anywhere close to that in the near future, or possibly ever again. So yeah, Pep's Barca will have its place in history, it already does, regardless of how incredible Messi has been and hwo much influence he's had on the club. I don't see a reason why the notions of Pep's Barca and Messi's Barca can't co-exist. It's absurd to nullify Pep's part just because it coincides with Messi's era.

Pep's legacy was built on much more than 14 trophies. It's not only the trophies that make him among the best in history, nor his Barca among the best teams.

didn't Xavi and Cesc it's impossible to manage one side for such long time like Ferguson and Wenger in Spain? especially if you manage Barca or madrid

Its not true, Pep decided to leave. He would have had enough credit for years to come, atleast till Xavi was ready to take over.
It was his personal choice and I wish him happiness in his career/life, he has done enough for Barca.

Pep gained special status because everything he has archieved during 4 years and yes it was indeed he was the one who decided to leave but from what i've read from xavi interview about 2 years ago he said that in here if you go two seasons without winning things you have to change everything, every team has cycle even Ferguson have gone 3 seasons without winning league post Beckham era,if that's happen to Pep i think he would have to leave

Messi is young though, if Tito fails and is replaced and we reign again in Europe etc etc... anyways its a silly argument, Pep's era, Messi's era who cares.
